MAX level in less than 2 hours
By Bot Bank
in this guide i describe how to get max level in less than 2 hours, this can be done at 4 differant levels of speed, these are completely AFK and you need up to 4 differant players/controllers. in the video i use 1 keyboard and 2 controllers. in this game 1 xp = 1 hit on an enemy.
the hawks hit at around 4.3 times a second. given the math thats around 15.4 thousand xp a hour, given it takes 114000 xp to be level 99 thats around 7.4 HOUR. and with 2 controllers 3.7 HOUR. 3 conrtollers 2.46 HOUR. and 4 controllers is 1.85 HOUR.
1 controller the max level is AVG 7.4 hours
2 controller the max level is AVG 3.7 hours
3 controller the max level is AVG 2.4 hours
4 controller the max level is AVG 1.85 hours
PER CHARACTER, is all the characters it would take this many in order to get the guy with Hawk to max level.

Something worth noting is that while you can do this trick with the Alien character too, it is unreliable because of the burn chance from it's permanent weapon that will end the idle farming early.
I doubt this can be avoided in multiplayer since all indirect attacks are assumed to be done by the player who initially knocked the enemy down, and would increase the burn chance as a result.

In general, you should avoid doing this trick with any weapon that has a chance to inflict burn, poison, ice, or shock, as those can end the idle farming early. Increased crit chances are okay since the hawk's crit only deals 4 damage.

...has anyone already tested if the giraffe doubles the XP received when doing this? this almost sounds like it could possibly make full party idle farming sessions even faster, assuming it turns the setup's 4x XP to 6x.

The problem I'm experiencing with this is it seems like there is a random chance to slightly knock the enemy back, when trying trying to just knock them down. I tried to knock them down with both an aerial light attack and a spinning jump attack (single hit).
I cant't find any pattern in why sometimes they land in the same spot and sometimes they're knocked back. I tested this with 2 controlled characters in the arena.

The problem is that if the thief is knocked back, even slightly they teleport back up onto the ledge. Am I supposed to pull them away from the ledge slightly with whoever has aggro, before trying to knock them down?

it its about having the same pet, it's just
1. Grab a character (in solo) [Let's say Green Knight and Chicken pet]
2. Grab the desired pet
3. Exit to Menu
4. Grab another character [Let's say Skeleton and Chicken pet]
5. (Repeat step 2)
6. In multiplayer, select the characters that you used for steps 1 and 4 [as an example, they'd be Green Knight and Skeleton]

@Dachi I think he means 'Do single player with 1 character. Grab the pet from the Pet stable. Wait for save and exit to main menu.' Then do that 3 more times with 3 other characters until 4 different characters have a solo save where they start with that 1 pet. Then connect the 3 other controllers for 4player and THEN all 4 will have the same pet since they had it equipped prior.

still dont get it sorry

@dachi, if you equip the pets in solo mode, you can use all the characters with that pet together, all you have to do is go into it one player, then you can get the pet and repeat till you reach 4 or the max controllers/keyboards,
