Great breakdown

The trade off to discard 4 is pretty marginal if one has 2 cards higher than current pair (with high
# of remaining matches in deck), but may yield a higher overall chance of successfully beating the blind.

Kinda, but if you had two high cards maybe you would only discard 4 as the difference in chance is negligible, depends on the scenario.
