Introduction
In this short guide I'll show you how to create your own faces. The thing itself is not hard since the ingame editor lets you resize and move pictures but if you don't know how, you'll be doing faces in no time!
I'll be using Photoshop in this guide since it's easier for me but you can use any image-edition program that lets you crop and make pics backgrounds transparent.
1. Finding a picture
The first step to create your first awesome actor is find a face for him/her. To make things easier I recommend you to find a photo were the person/character is looking at the camera, so you can see the front of the face. In this case, since I'm watching Breaking Bad I decided to pick Heinsenberg and found a decent photo without much effort.

After getting the image, you need to cut the face. In this picture, the background is white so you just have to delete it with the magic rubber (or if you are a perfectionist use some more sophisticated methods). If the image doesn't have a white background try to select with the lasso tool the face and then delete the things outside that selection.
Don't worry about the size of the image , the ingame tools let you resize it. This is how mine got(as you can see the edges are a little bit bad cut but as an example it will do):

After cutting it, save it as a png in a place where you can have it handy.
2. Creating the mouth
Now your character needs a face. If in the picture you took isn't looking at the front you may have problems creating it but with imagination you sure can do it easily.
In the same window in which you have the face with the transparent background, make a square selection tool (or any other shape) and select the mouth (the lower lip) and part of the chin, like this:

Note the black and white outline near the mouth , that is our selection.

After that just delete the rest of the image so it ends like this:

After that just save that file with a different name ( so we can keep the png of the face) and as a png to keep the transparency.
*Optional step*
When you are in the ingame editor you can easily search your files so to make things easier ( which is the objetive of this guide anyways), you can move them to the game directory at C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Adventurezator\ and there you move the face. Then the mouth to that same location but inside the mouths folder.
3. Using the face ingame
After you have done all of this, open the game. In the main menu you'll see an option called "Sandbox". Click it.

After clicking "Sandbox" you'll see many options and one of them is the Actors menu, proceed clicking that one.

If you were smart enough, you will see this menu:

To edit the mask/face click on the mask that is on the mirror, with the pig face. Then the mask menu appears like this:

If you click on the face, a file browser will appear and since you put your face inside the game directory, you'll instantly see it:

After selecting it, don't modify the zoom and the pan because the mouth won't be placed correctly. Select then the mouth icon and find your mouth inside the "mouths" folder:

Finally edit the pan and the zoom to make your created face look good and decent.

To preview how the face works, just click on "Talk test".

*Note: not sure if the devs changed it with an update but I remember the mouth used to have its own pan and zoom tools. *
4. Credits
I hope you liked this guide. I know this is really easy and almost didn't need a tutorial but this game didn't have any guide yet and decided to create the very first one that could help you create your own faces. If I manage to learn well how the other ingame tools work I could end up creating another guides and as far as I have seen, the level editor is really simple.

This guide was enterely created by me, if you liked it please upvote. If you have any questions, feel free to comment.
