Introduction
Path of the Abyss has a ton of loot. Once you get your Discovery high and Mana Pollution peaking, enemy groups are dropping enchanted loot like it's nothing. This guide is a quick overview of how to predict what you might get when you identify those mysterious enchanted items. It'll also tell you how to predict what the quality of those items are, such as "Miracle" or "Poor."

This guide is a work in progress and I will add more information as I figure it out. I plan to add a small section of Blessings at a later time.

Of course, a big thanks to Suzuki Suzuzou for this amazing game.
Enchantment Types
Introduction
Before being identified, items in your bag are labeled by their type and can be followed by various enchantment types of that unknown item. The enchantment types are listed after the item type in brackets. For example, [Protect]. This section describes what each of the enchantment types may translate to when the item is identified.

Number of Enchantments
For unidentified enchanted items, there will be a plus sign, "+," followed by a number. For example, in the picture above, ?Shield +2 [Enchant] [Quick]. This means that the unidentified shield has two enchantments, one of the [Enchant] type and one of the [Quick] type.

Sometimes, there will be occasions where the number after the plus sign (+) exceeds the number of listed enchantment types. This means that that item will have multiple enchantments of the same type. For example, in the picture above ?Armor +2 [Protect]. This will have two enchantments of the [Protect] enchantment type. Although rare, I believe I've seen the same enchantment stack, giving the appearance of less enchantments than you'd initially expect.

Enchantment Types
For each enchantment type, here's the list of what it may translate to upon identifying the item. This list is certainly incomplete, as I'm still playing through the same, but I think that any missing modifiers can be figured out by the ones listed below. (I'll continue to update this as I figure out more).

[Doom]
This enchantment type seems to mostly focus on enhancing magic damage.
  • BurnDmg Correct
  • Crit mp
  • DMG conv (DEX)
  • DMG conv (WIS)
  • MagicDmg Correct
[Enchant]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing magic attacks and debuffs.
  • Duration
  • Moral leech
[Fate]
This enchantment type seems to focus on increasing dungeon difficulty (more loot).
  • Encounter
  • Mana polution
[Gloom]
  • Discovery
[Protect]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing magic/elemental defense.
  • Sor defBase
  • Sor defCorr
  • (the various elemental resistances represented by icons)
[Quick]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing speed-related modifiers.
  • Cast Reduction
  • CD reduction (Cool Down reduction)
  • EvasionCorr
  • ICD-Reduction (not sure about this)
[Sharp]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing dexterity-based modifiers.
  • AccuracyCorr
  • Crit rate
[Solid]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing physical defense.
  • Block rate
  • DefenseBase
  • DefenseCorr
[Surge]
This enchantment type seems to focus on enhancing recovery of morale and mana.
  • Mana recovery rate
  • Moral recovery rate [sic]
Item Quality (Prefixes)
Introduction
Items can have prefixes describing their quality. The quality of an item will alter it's bases statistics, but doesn't seem to alter enchantments. This section describes the qualifiers and my estimated impact on the items (no data mining performed) and is very WIP.

Item Quality (Prefix)
Barbarian
High-grade
Miracle
Poor
Lower item's base stats by (25% - 55%)
Power
Raise item's base stats (10% - 40%)
Shining
Worn

Quality Prediction (minor spoilers ahead)
After completing some floors in the game, the party will be able to understand the shopkeeper's speech. You may recall that at the start of the game, it just says, "OOOOoooooOOOO." The primary value in this is that the shopkeeper will give you a hint regarding the Quality of items before actually identifying them. What the shopkeeper is doing is describing the Quality (prefix) of the item, rather than the actual value (though that can be estimated based on the cost to identify).

Quality Hints
Here's a list of hints, and the Quality (prefix) that they can represent.

As good as it gets
  • Power
Mediocre
  • No Qualifier (normal)
  • High-grade
  • Worn
Not a very good one
  • Poor
Pretty Powerful
  • Miracle

should probably mention Blessed items are almost always worth it, there does not appear to be a cap on how many blessings you can hold. Then by using the enchantment girl and using the blessing option you can put it on other gear. Blessings buff up skills with small percentages or flat rates. Like crit up or heal% up with a skill
