binary's Outline Glows

Opis
THIS MOD WILL DO NOTHING ON ITS OWN!
Please use the READ ME included within the mod!

You will need:
GCFScape[nemstools.github.io] and it's dependencies (if you don't already have them). Download the v1.8.6 version, the one that will be at the top of the page.
It's also necessary to have this if you ever want to get into modding yourself, but that wont be covered here.

Also, incase this sounds daunting, all you do is take the file from this mod and add it to your cfg folder.
Trust me, this isn't something that'll take you hours!

1). Subscribe to this mod then launch L4D2

2). Open 3233645926.vpk with GCFScape, you can find it located in:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop

3). Place the included .cfg file into your cfg folder, located at:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg

4). (Optional) Add the .cfg to your autoexec, or make an autoexec if you don't have one yet

5). You're done!!!

Note: Animated glows are FPS dependent, basically if you have low fps (~30), it'll be slower, high fps (~300+) it'll be faster

Here's a useful website if you want to make outline glows of your own: https://prodigysim.github.io/l4d2-glow-picker/
I didn't even know this existed until just now

Feel free to tinker with this .cfg if you want to change any colors to your personal preference, just credit me if you upload an edit of this!

i wasnt sure if .cfg mattered so i just double checked

'exec glows' & 'exec glows.cfg' both work from autoexec, the mod does nothing so you dont need to enable it (or even stay subscribed) when you're done
my only guess is your autoexec doesnt work (maybe its actually .txt file?) so im not sure

Doesn't work. It's ON in Add-on in L4D2. I put glows.cfg in Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg\ and typed
"exec glows" in my autoexec.

you cant but you can put `exec glows.cfg` in your autoexec so it always runs at startup

if it’s in your auto exec you don’t need to do it a second time either since it automatically does it

just add “exec glows” to your autoexec, all autoexec is is just automatically executing whatever console commands you write in it
