"Hello, this is my first tribute to hollow knight in the form of an artwork.
Hollow knight means a lot to me, to me it is a game which is very fun. I like playing it a lot and it feels great to all of my senses and i love experiencing awesome game design. in this drawing i showed in a more detailed depiction what it could look like if the knight you play as kills a bug with his sword, in the game everything is not extremely detailed in the way that you could see facial details and blood when being sliced so i added that to express how it looks like to me in my head, the game hollow knight is great art because it made me make this art, and maybe this art will make someone else make art too.
There is hornet in the background as she looks on with a facial expression she doesnt show often in-game, she seems to feel emotions as she watches the knight kill a bug, what those emotions are i will leave up to you, the viewer. the knight himself does seem to actually be enjoying his time, it's almost like he finds it satysfying due to how well the game is designed and how it satysfying the combat is and the movement which you can see in the dynamic pose of him swinging his sword. I added a detailed background in this drawing which i dont do often but it just felt right because otherwise you wouldnt be able to tell where this scene is taking place, i even added shadows underneath the characters which makes the whole scene feel way more alive which is a technique a lot of artist could tell you about.
