Honestly, I feel like the new lights should be appreciated, despite us being used to the wall lamp or some other mods.
I mean yeah, it's kind of late, but I think it's better than never.

Oh, I think I get it, it's kinda what Sumatris said, but it's the whole:
We've invented all kinds of amazing machines to build and control mechs, but it wasn't until 2024 that we finally discovered how to (in vanilla) put lights on the walls and on streetlights.

I guess the joke is that after Tynan giving us DLC with machines that can scan brains, build and recharge psychically controlled robots, and vaporize toxic waste on the atomic level, the next "innovation" we got was a dumb street lamp. Not exactly the DLC's fault, given its horror theme, but a weirdly funny step back nonetheless in terms of tech level.
