This guide was created in the hopes of aiding new players in understanding what mainframe upgrades are, what they do and how to acquire them

Mainframe upgrades in AutoForge are your way of upgrading Otto and for unlocking new abilities.

These upgrades cost 1 Ancient Technology each to unlock, and each upgrade must be purchased starting from the centre node. From there adjacent nodes can be purchased.

To purchase upgrades you need to interact with the mainframe that is to the left of Apotheos

Including the starting upgrade "Empower" there are 25 upgrades in total.

You can acquire mainframe upgrades by interacting with entangled ancient tech in the overworld




These will provide you with Ancient Tech

Boosts Health by 4, Harvest power by 50% and crafting speed by 25%.

Increases projectile power

Increases inventory space by 10

Increases maximum health by 4

Increases sword power

Increases crafting speed by 25%

Increases maximum harvesting and building range by 1

Find seeds in the wild more often

Interaction range increase

Increase movement speed by 10%

Ore sparkles are unique per ore type

Allows personal crafting of ingots and other forge recipes

Increases defence

Find eggs in the wild more often

Hover in the air

Monsters drop more items when you kill them

Interaction range increase

Roll behind enemies

Increases base harvesting power by 50%

Increases sword power

Increases maximum harvesting and building range by 1

Increases base harvesting power by 50%

Slowly auto-heal over time

Increases maximum health by 4

Increases inventory space by 10
