Each event can be completed once you unlock a race location, with the exception of rival races.

Rival Race
Rival races (head to head battles) are random events during a season when you have admirers or nemeses. If you completed a season but still have locked rival battles, just continue to the next era. Drivers will call you to go back to leftover battles.

Failing an Event
If you fail an event, and complete it without getting every cup, you can just retry it.
❗Note: The only exception to this are the Grand Prix events!

Grand Prix events can only be driven again after the season has been concluded!
→ Once you beat an era, you can reset the season championship in the standings menu.
⠀⠀This will allow you to retry Grand Prix.

Wins Achievements

⠀THE NEW KID
⠀⠀Win a GP in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win any Grand Prix in the career mode.

⠀THE PRO
⠀⠀Win 25 GPs in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win twenty-five Grand Prix in the career mode.

Consecutive Wins
Because you cannot restart a Grand Prix event, the streak achievements can be challenging on the higher difficulty. However there are two options to make this easier:
  • Option 1Perk
During a season you can unlock a perk of the communications manager which allows you to restart a Grand Prix via the restart option in the pause menu.

  • Option 2Cheat
A cheap alternative is to force close (ALT-F4) your game before the end of the Grand Prix. This allows you to restart the game to just before the Grand Prix race started, allowing you to keep your streak.

⠀THE CONSISTENT PERFORMER
⠀⠀Win 5 consecutive GPs in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win five Grand Prix in a row.

⠀THE ELITE PERFORMER
⠀⠀Win 10 consecutive GPs in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win ten Grand Prix in a row.

Wins+
These achievements require you to win a Grand Prix and fulfil an additional requirement.

⠀THE TYRE SPECIALIST
⠀⠀Finish a GP having used 2 different types of tyre in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win a Grand Prix by using at least two different tyre compounds.
⠀⠀For example: if you start on soft (red) tires, change to hard (white)
⠀⠀tires at your next pit stop.

⠀THE RAIN MASTER
⠀⠀Win a GP in the wet in CAREER MODE
⠀⠀Win a Grand Prix while it's raining.
⠀⠀Rainy weather will occur on certain Grand Prix.

⠀THE SPEED DEMON
⠀⠀Win a GP by more than 25 seconds
⠀⠀Win a Grand Prix with a gap of at least twenty-five seconds to second place.
⠀⠀This can be tricky on the higher difficulty. Your best chance is at the start of a
⠀⠀new era (later era's are more difficult). Upgrade your car's as much as
⠀⠀possible with the leftover money of the previous season.

Broken Components
Some achievements require you to win with a severely damaged car. Components have to explicitly fail. Components that are damaged or even critical do NOT count! Repairing failed components before winning the race does also NOT count!

Components that can break (fail) are:
  • Brakes
  • Front Wing
  • Gearbox
  • Rear Wing
  • Suspension
  • Tires
The state of a component is displayed in the car indicator on the right. Components start with a green colour and will slowly turn red the more damaged they get.

The difficult part is that driving with broken components is very slow. The best tactic is to destroy them near the end of a Grand Prix. Street circuits are best for this tactic, because the barriers are closer to the track, making it easier to get damage without losing much time.

The easiest way to achieve this is on the Côte d'Azur Grand Prix in the 1980's era.
Select the 'Restart Grand Prix' and 'Unlimited Rewinds' perks, so you have several tries.
For the other perks, select perks that save you time in order to build a sizable gap to P2.

The first part is to damage the components to orange before entering the last lap. This can be achieved by slamming into barriers/opponents or by going off track (and over kerbs). Try to create as much of a gap to P2 as possible (at least 10 seconds).

In the last lap, slam into the barrier in the penultimate corner. This should cause some components to at least be critical. Use rewind in order to retry the crash if necessary. Lastly, crash into barrier of the final corner, which should let the components fail. The engineer will tell you explicitly when a component has failed. It could be handy to save some boost for the finish straight, since the car will now perform like a tractor.

If you crossed the finish line and failed the achievement, you can reset the championship in the standings menu to try again.

⠀THE BATTLER
⠀⠀Win a GP in CAREER MODE with a broken component
⠀⠀Win a Grand Prix with at least one broken component.

⠀THE SURVIVOR
⠀⠀Win a GP in CAREER MODE with more than one broken component
⠀⠀Win a Grand Prix with at least two broken components.
Race Track Achievements
The following achievements are related to winning a Grand Prix on a certain race track.

It is not required to win on your first try. If you didn't manage to win a Grand Prix, you can try again after the season has been concluded. Once you beat a certain era, you can reset the championship in the standings menu to keep retrying. Additionally most tracks appear in multiple eras, giving you multiple opportunities.
