1. Fatal error when game loads or game hangs while loading

Fix:

Delete the game's auto save file:

Go to the folder C:\Users\<WINDOWS USER NAME>\Documents\My Games\Trials of Mana\Steam\<STEAM USER ID>\Saved\SaveGames
Delete the file ADAT.sav.

2. LowLevelFatalError - Failed to find shader map for default material WorldGridMaterial

Error message:

Fix:

Open Windows Explorer
Go to the folder %LocalAppData%\Unreal Engine\Engine\Config (you can copy & paste this path into Windows Explorer)
Delete, move or rename the file UserEngine.ini
If that doesn't help, do the same for all other files in this folder

Disable your integrated graphics card (iGPU) in Device Manager[support.microsoft.com].

4. Other causes for errors

Other causes for errors could be mods or translations in the game's folder. Move these to a different folder and see if that works. You can find mods/translations like this:

Go to your Steam library
Right-click "Trials of Mana"
Go to "Manage → Browse local files"
Open the folders "Content" → "Paks"
