I wanted to know if it's more time efficient in Palia to farm gold and buy iron bars or if I should instead focus on mining the ores and make the bars myself. I did a 30 minute test and the numbers are quite shocking.

In Palia there are two ways to get resources. You can manually go out into the world and farm them yourself, or you can spend gold to get the resource you want instantly. I wanted to know if my time is better spent doing something to make lots of gold per hour and buy the resource, or if I am saving time and money by gathering the resource myself. This video proves which method is better.
