Introduction
After about 250hrs of playing spies, I have understood the basics of the class and most of the tips and tricks (I might post a guide about it later.) I have made a Knife Guide before, and now here is a Revolver Guide. Plz enjoy this guide and playing spy in Team Fortress 2.
Revolver (Stock+Reskins)
Revolver (Stock + Reskins)
Reskins include big Kill
Level Status: Finish Off My Rating: ****** (5/10) (6-7/10 for beginners)
The Revolver is, just like most stock weapons, is a great place to start the journey of playing spy. As a spy, you have to learn to finish off enemies with low health with your revolver. The Revolver might not deal that much damage, but it should be enough when used correctly. The spy has the advantage to gain access to enemy health, but not many spies know how to use the extra information unique only to the spy (except a Medic with the Solemn Vow equipped.) When you are blending in the enemy team, note down all the enemy classes and all your surroundings in your head. Always look around and try to spot any injured enemies. You should be able to finish them off with a quick shot or two. I recommend not using other revolvers when you have just stared playing spy, or else this effective little trick could not be learnt.

Ambassador
Ambassador
Level Status: Precise Shots My Rating: ********* (9/10)
Probably the best revolver in the game, but extremely hard to use. I don’t quite understand why the Ambassador was the reward for Spy Milestone 1. Many people says that a spy with an Ambassador is a sniper with Death Feigning, disguising and Cloaking abilities, so they would say that the spy should play like a sniper playstyle, but able to snipe from unexpected spots. I would agree with that, but not entirely. It is not that easy to snipe with no scope, and counter sniping brings insta-death. The Ambassador increases the power of the spy when fighting enemies head-on. Many people don’t realize that the Ambassador could not land headshot crits right after you shoot. Therefore, never hold down MOUSE 1, unless when bodyshots are enough to finish the job, you can know when it could land a crit by noting the size of the crosshair. Even more people don’t realize that the revolver shots are not always accurate. You have to wait for about 0.6 seconds for it to make a precise shot. Even if the Ambassador does not have the crit cooldown, it will still be better to wait for that particular amount of time so that you could make headshots easier.
Sniping Engineers is a popular and unique way of contributing to the destruction of tightly defended sentry nests. Since Engineers usually does not allow a sniping spot which could hit the Engineer directly, the Spy could reach secret spots by using cloak and disguise. I don’t really have many tips for the Ambassador, but just be calm and put your crosshair in head level.

L'Etranger
L’Etranger
Level Status: Cloak support My Rating: ******** (8/10)
The L’Etranger is the only weapon which could increase the max cloak duration and one of the two weapons that could add cloak to your meter. It might seem confusing about my last sentence, actually. What the L’Etranger actually does is to increase the ‘length’ of your meter, passively. Therefore, you would have about 13 seconds to cloak with the Invisibility Watch (stock) equipped; 8.7 seconds with the Cloak ‡ and 9.1 seconds with the Dead Ringer. Another effect of the L’Etranger is to boost your cloak by 15% whenever you hit someone, like around 4-5 hits plus an ammo box could refill all your clock meter (for Cloak & Dagger, 4-5 hits plus the time you shoot would refill it.) The L’Etranger deals 20% less damage, might not seem like a lot, but it is. Don’t try to kill someone with this gun unless they really have little health. Take a couple of shots at distracted enemies to refill your cloak and help out your teammates. The L’Etranger pairs well with the Dead Ringer, since it is harder for it to refill its cloak and has less max cloak. The L’Etranger is a good choice when using the Eternal Reward, because you won’t be using a gun when you have a disguise, and the L’Etranger is the only revolver with passive effects even when not using it (as in the Saharan Spy Set.)

Enforcer
Enforcer
Level Status: Balanced My Rating: ****** (6/10)
The Enforcer is sort of a straight upgrade of the stock Revolver. It does more damage, and slower firing speed isn’t much of a big cost when you have more damage. The reason I said that it only has 6/10 rating is that it is not a good choice, for experienced or more skilful players, skilful players usually use the Ambassador or the L’Etranger. The Enforcer could deal over 60 damage at mid-close range, making it lethal at pursuing pyros and the rest. However, the Enforcer really sucks at long range, making it a bad choice for skilful players, that’s because skilful players go for trickstabs at pursuers and snipes enemies with the Ambassador.

Diamondback
Diamondback
Level Status: Finisher My Rating: ******* (7/10)
The Diamondback is similar to the Frontier Justice and the Manmelter---It could store crits. It had been strengthened by a lot after being abled to store crits even after backstabs. The effect of the Diamondback might seem attractive, but it is super easy to miss when you have crits and can’t do much about it when you don’t have crits, while other revolvers could perform at their best at all times. It would also make you hesitate before you shoot since you are afraid to miss and waste all your crits. At the same time, it could perform really well when the user is calm and confident with his aim. I would prefer the Ambassador or the L’Etranger or the Ambassador over the Diamondback.

Conclusion
As I have said in the Knife Guide, its all about preferences. I don't know if you have this feeling, but i always do better with a particular weapon just because I feel more confident with it, not becuase of it stats. For example, I wilI do better with the Black Rose than the stock Knife or the Sharp Dresser. And i always feel better wielding the Spy-cicle than the other knives, or the Ambassador better than the Enforcer. Plz let me know in the comments if you are like that with certain weapons.Thank You!
