I bought 8t Alligators and let them deliver large amounts to the banks. I chose contracts with a small fee for not succesfully deliver them. The alligator dont bring money but deliver constantly 7-8t per delivery.
I changed between buying faster Dreadnaughts and slower alligators (later Brontosaurus) and used the faster cars for earning money by speed contracts, to compensate the losses of the alligator deliverys.
Have to keep your eye on the mission which is to HELP level the bank to level 3 which requires 2000 tons of coins for each bank. In this case the AI helps you to the end but also is a factor you must consider.
After seeing my money going red, I finally saw a different way to look at a solution which was looking at each contract total tonnage. For an example looking at 4 stages of 4 tons each = 16 tons which can be done with 2 fast 8 Bronos.
btw, the race cars give you 3 fast drivers and 600k and if you level both banks to bronze the central bank will give you 500k.
I also used other indies to help improve the roads to lower the speed requirements but if lower the number of stages then speed is less of an issue.
This level the AI is co-op, next level the AI is a nuisance.
I´ll try to follow them
