Builtin SteamDeck Buttons
These controls generally never change game to game.
Keybind
Output
Steam Button
Will open up SteamDeck MENU
... Button
Will open up SteamDeck quick settings menu
Top right Start Button
Opens and closes the games main menu
Basic Movement Controls
Took some playing around with but here are all the controls.
Keybind
Output
Left Analogue stick
Move camera UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
Right Analogue Stick
Move cursor UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
Up D-pad Arrow
Scroll UP through tabs on left side of screen
Down D-pad Arrow
Scroll DOWN through tabs on left side of screen
Right D-pad Arrow
OPENS currently select tab on left side of screen
Left D-pad Arrow
Currently does nothing only used to move left inside of tabs
Left Trackpad
Can be used the same as the left d-pad on SteamDeck
Left Bumper
Brings current object CLOSER to player
Right Bumper
Moves current object FURTHER from player
Basic Block Placement Controls
Some Buttons don't do anything remember. (:

Left Analogue stick Down
Switch to EYEDROPPER TOOL
Right Analogue Stick Down
Switch to DESTRUCTION MODE
Left Trigger
Will cycle through all available blocks randomly | Same as B button
Right Trigger
Used to place current selected block | Same as A button
A Button
Used to place current selected block | Same as right trigger
B Button
Will cycle through all available blocks randomly | Same as left trigger
X Button
Used to UNDO a block placement
Y Button
used to REDO a block placement
Right Track Pad
Can be used as cursor or single press down to enter destruction mode
R4, R5, L4, L5
Currently does nothing
A,B,A,X,A,Y,Up,Down,Right
Unlock all items instantly (:

Final Thoughts
Again, I will end another guide with a few pics and thoughts.

It's very playable on the steam deck and if you got the time it's worth it on the things you can create. Before making this guide, I made a SteamDeck world.

In the future it would be nice if the 4 back buttons could be setup to be used as the tools or used as the 4 menu options at the bottom of the screen. otherwise its pretty straight forward and enjoyable.
