Welcome to the world of a peaceful, but busy, life on Snacko Island!

While you're going about running errands and doing you chores to feed yourself, build a nice farm and restore balance in this place that's going to be your new home, let me introduce you to all the characters you are going to encounter during your journey.

Nobu Jr.

About: Nobu Jr. loves to push his boundaries with the adults. He enjoys positive attention despite being argumentative and often sulks if he’s been reprimanded too much. He takes his ranch responsibilities very seriously. He always has at least four crayons in his bag.

Role: Rancher, cow'n'chicken dealer, your purrsonal odor tester.

Grocers can be unlocked after completing MIAO 1. They sell crop seeds, vegetables and little yummie cookable bits. Pay them a visit if you're into farming.
(Obviously you are, since you're playing a farming simeowlator game, haha!).

Hanna

About: Hanna dotes on her son Jun, quite a bit. While Jun is still a baby, there's no doubt in anyone's mind that he'd be ready to defend his mama if he had to #IAmNotAWussMyDadIsAGoose. Hanna loves to read DIY magazines, but she's not that great with scissors. She's also not good at reading bus schedules and gets lost often in the city.

Role: Grocer. Mom to Jun, a cute baby duckling.

Iva

About: Iva grew up in a very loving family as an only child. Her parents have always been so supportive of her endeavors, so when she mentioned she's like to run her own store, they pointed her to the island. She's always willing to try new things, but her reaction is usually a mild, "nice!".

About: Mack is smart. Very smart, actually. He's been at the head of many research papers and studies in his field. But, seeing that he ate his way to unemployment, he still has room to improve. His lab mates at the university miss him terribly, but they're relieved their samples are no longer being devoured.

Wood. You fluffing always need wood in this game. A carpenter is your guy! If you have a coin to spear (otherwise go destry trees in the forest, you meownster! Joking, they grow back just fine).

Anyway, a woodshop will purrvide you with all types of wood needed. Softwood, hardwood, deadwood, morning wood, you name it! Furnace, Ores, various crafting meowterials are always in stock, as well.

You can also purrchase crafting blueprints (they are, indeed, blue, I checked!), and get access to a home cat-alogue that allows you expand your house interior.

Chae-Young

About: Chae-Young is very passionate about her work. She has a quick temper and lets off steam by window shopping. For her, violence is always the answer.

Role: Carpenter.
Personality: Easygoing.

Kumal

About: Kumal loves to snack. He's got all sorts of snacks in his jacket pocket. He thinks his jacket is really cool and won't hesitate to tell you about it and show it off. His easygoing attitude made him popular with the other workshop renters in the city, but his temper is quite short when it comes to dealing with equipment.

About: Orie is a bit of a workaholic, but she'll tell you it's just a "passion". She likes to be prepared and keeps an assortment of items in her messenger bag no matter where she goes, just in case. As a kitten, she bit trees for fun.

Alchemists can be unlocked after completing MIAO 1. They sell shards, dyes, Myst Crystals, Alembics, and useful things for farming such as furtilizers and Cat-a-lyzers. Science, b

tch!

An Alchemy shop also serves a special and unique purrpose. It's your ticket to a dating oppurrtunity! Buy a Snowflower if you're ready to confess to your loved one (diamond rings are overrated). But I'd suggest finding one in the wild. Unless you've made millions selling your meowterials.

Bituin

About: Bituin is a bit skittsih, but that doesn't stop her from being an amazing alchemist! She loves desserts centered around fruits, something that she always has on hand thanks to the care packages her family sends her. Although she can be a worry-wart, she doesn't like to worry others, so she keeps her thoughts to herself most of the time.

Ember

About: Ember is full of endless curiosity as they are filled with the desire to cook an edible meal. No one has ever seen them angry. Their hobbies include cookbooks and jewelry.

Mail Clerks can be unlocked after completing MIAO 1. They purrvide resident meownagement and post office services.

Visit their mailroom at the Cultural Center to move out a no longer needed resident (rude); or to send a package to your crush, or if you're lucky to receive one.

Date

About: Date is a huge history buff, although the "history" he likes is a little...embellished. He's had the same dream since he was a wee child: to be a hero. His passion shines through everything he does, including his exercise regime. Although some can find his over-the-top mannerisms annoying, he's too oblivious to notice.

Restauranteurs can be unlocked after completing MIAO 2.

Feeling hungry but too lazy to cook? Or want to impress a purrson you like, treating them to a good meal saying it was you who made it? (no judgement!). Whatever the case, a restaurant is a place to go to satisfy whoever's belly's needs!

There you can purrchase take-outs and recipes (unless you feel like wasting ingredients improvising in the kitchen. I'm looking at you, Dubious Dish...

)

A-Song

About: A-Song was told from a young age that his expressions were hard to read, so he carries around clear glasses with eyes drawn on to help convey his emotions. Although he's older than Yang Yang, he still relies on his younger brother for emotional support. If he had it his way, his cafe would only sell cold drinks.

Chiaki

About: Chiaki loves to read fantasy novels and recreate the dishes from her favorite stories. She used to write for a local food magazine with her recipes under a pen name. About: Fiona and her teddy are always together no matter what! She loves taking naps in weird places and vanilla flavored desserts. She gets distracted easily and often finds herself somewhere new after chasing after a bug. Her cheerful demeanor makes her ice cream pop-up shop popular with the cityfolk.

Since you're the chosen one to play a role of the aww-vatar, the last purrbender, you'll be meeting all of the Spirits and having to deal with their shenanigans in order to restore balance.

Trava (the Grassy Plains Obelisk Guardian)

is a... rather peculiar spirit. Overwhelmingly chatty and high all sorts of spiritual substances. When coming in contact with them, get ready for the twists and turn...ips.

Glina (the Desert Canyon Obelisk Guardian)

will make you feel like the most insignificant peasant ever. But she's elegant...ly arrogant.

Cheri (the Mushroom Forest Obelisk Guardian)

Don't let her negative energy and pessimistic words discourage you. Unlike her, I believe in you!

Miraz (the Frozen Tundra Obelisk Guardian)

His tongue must be frozen from spending his eternity in a cold region, he doesn't talk much.

Land Sprite

The cutest and a very supportive companion you're blessed to have. This little guy will guide and stick with you throughout your journey. Don't forget to use a bell he gives you to summon him every time you're on your chopping or mining missions, he'll do his best to help!

Messecina

The spiritual goddess of the Snacko Island. She's a beautiful mystery that keeps the island in healthy balance. But only if you keep donations coming!

- Tourists -

Whether or not you want your island to be overcrowded, a cute and queit place far away from the city will surely attract visitors. They're not datable, and you you cannot give them gifts. These guys will just be hanging around the town, preaching their wisdom to you. Or their complaints.
