Copy the following dll files[drive.google.com] from Microsoft to the folder where you have installed the game, for example:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Scribblenauts

If you don't want to download them, look for them in the folders:

C:\Windows\System32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64

There are people who claim to have solved the problem by copying the Microsoft dll files in "System32" folder to "SysWOW64" folder, and vice versa. But it hasn't worked for me.

Before reaching the above solution, I tried many things that didn't work, but may be necessary requirements.

It is always a good idea to have all versions (from 2005 onwards) of Microsoft Visual C++ installed, both in the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, since many games use these libraries to function.

You can download them from Microsoft's own website, although I found it easier from Github[gist.github.com]

Another possible requirement is to have all versions of Microsoft DirectX installed. This component is usually installed automatically with the operating system or with games.

The most recent one (version 12) can be obtained from Microsoft website[support.microsoft.com]

I had a hard time finding the previous versions there, so I had to look elsewhere and in the end it worked for me with these:

Al ejecutar un juego desde Steam, se puede ver que hace el intento de iniciar, pero enseguida se cierra, sin ningún mensaje de error.
Al iniciar un juego desde el fichero .exe, aparece el error 0xc000007b

Antes de alcanzar la anterior solución, probé muchas cosas que no funcionaron, pero que quizás sean requisitos necesarios.

Siempre es buena idea tener instaladas todas las versiones (desde el año 2005 hacia adelante) de Microsoft Visual C++ tanto en la versión de 32 como de 64 bits, ya que muchos juegos utilizan estas librerías para poder funcionar.

Puedes descargarlos desde la propia web de Microsoft, aunque a mí me resultó más fácil desde Github[gist.github.com]

Otro posible requisito sea tener instalado todas las versiones de Microsoft DirectX. Este componente se suele instalar automáticamente con el sistema operativo o con los juegos.

La más reciente (versión 12) se puede obtener de la web oficial de Microsoft[support.microsoft.com]
