Vanilla infestations are probably overtuned on these settings, but still make for a fun time. It would be amazing if you left the classic option untouched, and then perhaps, added a few more variants that scaled depending on map size. As far as I could tell there was no option left in the mod that was close to the vanilla feeling of constantly under pressure - as every one of the infestation settings you had spawned no more than one per turn.

1/999 hardly a difference to the default settings of the mod, entire map full of spawners very quickly, a mod that increases movement range is recommended just to play whack-a-mole until you get bored
1/2000 a decent trickle of new spawners without being overwhelming, camps have time to claim territory, AI hunts down spawners actively (it turtles when there are too many)
adjust to your liking, also there's an option to prevent spawns for x number of turns, you can use that for a 'normal' game and then 'zombie apocalypse' at a certain date."
