Rules to become a better Helldiver
  1. Nobody (who deserved it, being nice) will be left behind, try to support your mates with suppressing fire or even with some stratagems.
  2. Communicate, even if you don't have a mic! Use the in game pointing system in order to advice or point out your interests, you can also using the in game chat which is in the bottom right corner. Everybody has more fun if you play as one team!
  3. Watch out for samples and loot them, also from fallen teammates. They are shared with all team, you can also use the in game mini map to see where they when someone died or ping them to make your life easier.
  4. Don't pick up any support equipment of your dead teammates, only reason to pick it up would be if you are not able to bring them back immediately or they tell you to do so. If you want ot be nice you can even drop them items, when they spawn far away or after you used it for emergencies. Normal weapons are ok to use, because they anyway will spawn with them.
  5. From resupply stratagem grab only one charge, let everyone grab at least one! Resupply takes time and one for everybody is sufficient. Pro tip: Reload before you pick up the resupply!
  6. Don't call the respawn beacon into large groups of enemies, without any equipment they will die or even die before they can pick up theirs. You can try to kill heavy enemies with the beacon, but I would not recommend it, also just in emergency.
  7. Never walk in front of your team mates shooting or into the direction they shooting. Crouching can help but be careful, also when mates crossing your shooting direction. Crouching will also help to don't hit them!
  8. Be careful where you position your AOE damage stratagems, ensure to not hit any team mate or not throwing it in front of them. For turrets it would be good to place them on high ground so they can deal a lot of damage!
  9. Don't shoot everything moving, just shoot enemies if it's not possible to avoid or your mate already shoot at, to not trigger unnecessary reinforcements.
  10. Host is king, stay with him, try to support and act like a team, if you want to do it in another way, try to communicate or launch your own game!
  11. Don't board the rescue ship when your mates are not arround, there are just 20 seconds for them to also join the ship which can be quite though when you not arround!

Additional tip:
If a mate runnes the supply pack, ask him to resupply you and then let him resupply his backpack. It will help you during the cooldown and your mission to better use resupplies!

Hey, nice guide! Add one more rule - don't board the shuttle as soon as it lands, if not everyone is around it! The shuttle has only 20sec timer after anyone boarded it, so if some of your allies went to pick up his dropped samples, or just isnt here yet, its a bad move to board the shuttle, since you will just abandon them on planet along with their share of samples, and make the mission result yield less.

Oh, they will come back. Once all the enemies are killed, the campaign restarts.
At least that's how it was for Helldivers 1, I assume they'll shake things up a bit for Helldivers 2 to avoid things getting to repetitive.

@ Honorable Discharge : Are you are right, just forgot about this fact ^^

Maybe it was the final win and they will never return, so we will never know :ftkyeti:
Hope they will come back :cleandino:

@ Casi ツ : Well, I'll have to wait until Automatons are back, they've been wiped out, and bugs are just frustrating to fight because they sneak behind you and flank you, so even the flamethrower ends up getting you killed.

@ Honorable Discharge : I don't think there is a differnence! :btd6darkknight: But feel free to test it and come back with a comment :winter2019cooldog:

Very good to know. Does it also work with lasers, or just bullets weapons?
casi ツ  [autor] 3 apr. la 4:02
@ Honorable Discharge : Of course, if you play vs robots you can have an impact of how many bullets they fire at you. If you fire a lot of them they will not shoot back as much as if you don't shoot at them! :precision:

Wait, supressing is a mechanism in Helldivers 2?
