To skip text, go to Options and at the Skip part, click on Unseen Text and Transition. Make sure to set Text Speed all the way to right.
Now select Alex's Hope, then skip text fast and 2 achievements should unlock (A Soft Friend and Hope). Then, select Alex's Solitude and skip text again and you shall unlock Solitude achievement.
