Hero Tale Achievement: Animal Lover by Emma Nielsen

Unlock Condition: Prove yourself by obtaining gate pass and go through the gate to the demonic zone without harming an innocent animal.

Story Skip – The beginning of the game, you will follow various quests, I will skip these parts, so once you satisfy Edwards requests follow this guide.

Heads up - This step-by-step guide’s purpose is to find a suitable path to unlock the achievement, it doesn’t include battle advice, or levelling methods.

Warning: Do not go to Harpy’s Den. The Harpy children are innocent animals.

Step 1 – “Town Entrance.” Edward finally set you off to find him in the city and find the druid.

Warning: of enemies here, there are Fishleg, Toad and Thug.

You are only allowed to kill the Thugs!

Killing Thugs will open for Left, South and Right. Right has Wolves and Toad, so not possible. The South has Fishleg and Toad so not possible either. We can therefore only go West.

Step 2 – “Wheat Fields” It’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies opens for Left and South. South is safe for auto thus we go South.

Step 3 – “Farmer’s Hut” it’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies opens for Left and South, West has Snail, and thus we don’t want to go there. The South has Pixie and Mushroom; they are not innocent animals.

Step 4 – “Pixies Wilderness” It’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies opens for left south and right. We must take east here to reach the city, the only path left. It is also safe to go to the East.

Step 5 – “Timber fields” It’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies here will open for South and East. To reach the city we must go east.

Step 6- “Low Woodlands” This zone isn’t safe to auto.

Warning: Brawlhopper is considered innocent animal,

Killing enemies here will open for North and West. Sadly, the North only has brawlshopper we will therefore go East.

Step 7 – “Woodfolk Circle” It’s safe to auto.
Killing enemies here will open for the North.

Step 8 – “Heath” it’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies here will open the East.

Step 9 – “Green Hinterland” it’s safe to auto.

Killing enemies here will open the East.

Step 10 – “Wetland Border” This zone isn’t safe to auto.

Warning: Fluffbird and Brawlhopper, only kill Bandits!

Killing enemies here will open the East.

Step 11 “Ezra’s Convoy” Congratulations you have navigated through the forest, swamp and made it to the entrance of the city.

There are no longer dangers around as the clear way to the city is now just ahead.

Step 12 – “City Entrance” Safe to Auto

Step 13 – “Downtown” Safe to auto

Step 14 - "Skid Row” Safe to auto

Step 15 – “City Storage” Safe to auto

Step 16 – “Throne Room” The Lord

Step 17 – “Slums” Recommended zone for 30 rebels Safe to auto

Step 18 – “Throne Room" turns into a quest.

Step 19 – “Training Grounds” Safe to auto.

Step 20 – “Barracks” Beat and get Pass.

Step 21 – “Ezra’s Convoy” Talk to the guard, open the gate.

Step 22 – ”Reserve’s Entrance” The moment you load into the zone you should unlock the achievement.

If I already killed an animal, can I not unlock this achievement?

- To avoid spoilers, I can't tell you when but the way game works is that once you finish story the game will start over, some call it "ascending" some call it "rebirth" Depending on your total run time you will receive rewards and start from the beginning.

If you do kill an animal, you sadly can not unlock achievement the same run, so either restart or finish current run.

Can you provide a list of innocent Animals?

- Sorry i'm not a dev, and thus have no idea of all innocent animals, I only kept trying to find a possible route, it would require a lot more testing, which i'm not interested in.
