描述
Adds the Suez Canal as a buildable canal wonder at the discovery of Capitalism and also reworks the Panama Canal to make it more unique. Part of the Call of the Ocean Modder Pass pack.

The Suez Canal is a very strong wonder option geared towards a diplomatic victory. Allowing you to convert your dominance over trade routes to envoys, it pushes a late game push towards claiming any city-state that still isn't under your wing. However, be advised to try and keep peace to have the canal at its full capacity. The model also references the Defense Monument to give it a more distinct look, and shows the trade focus through the cargo ship on top.
Upon completion 1 or 2 adjacent Canal districts are automatically constructed. The Canal wonder tile can now be crossed by naval units. Must be built on a flat land tile where there are two adjacent tiles directly across the build tile from one another that meet the following criteria: one adjacent tile must be able to legally hold a Canal district connecting into the Suez Canal construction tile; the other must be either a city, a water tile, or be another tile that can hold a connecting Canal.

Newly built Canal districts provide capacity for an additional Trade Route, including the Canal districts created for this wonder. While at peace with all major civilizations, each Trade Route sent to a City-State grants 1 Envoy there.

Panama Canal Rework

To prevent both canals from having the same bonus, the Panama Canal has been reworked to highlight its importance as a feat of engineering. Allowing you to use Military Engineers even without armories and with more charges, they also allow you to capture more energy from Engineering districts (Canals, the Dams and Aqueducts) while benefitting from not removing their features. This can help you push towards a Science Victory with the power of Engineering!

Allows the city to train and purchase Military Engineers without Armories. +2 Movement and +2 Charges for Military Engineers. Canals, Dams and Aqueducts generate +2 Power each and may be built on Woods, Marshes and Rainforests without removing their tiles.

Wouldn't it be logical to make the Panama Canal be buildable on hills too?
The Panama Canal is famous for its water elevators.

Looks great - quick question - I use the JNR mod that replaces aqueducts with "Cisterns" - would this still work as intended?

允许城市在没有军事学院的情况下训练和购买军事工程师。军事工程师+2移动力+2使用次数。运河、水坝和水渠各产生+2点power(应该是指电力?),可以建在树林、沼泽和热带雨林上,无需移除地貌。

One question, so the canals that were built before the Suez Canal is build in your empire are not included in the +1 trade route capacity ability granted by the wonder?

I'm glad to see this got released. Suez canal should've been in the base game imo, and it makes it feel weird playing the game without it in egypt.

It also confuses me how Panama canal can be like 7 canals long. But, idk, at least panama canal is more modern; thinking maybe a good thing for Suez canal would be to limit it to 3 or 4 tiles long

Either way its good to have Suez canal available in the game
