The start.
When you start, press I for you inventory. T is your paperdoll to put your equipment on.
You have nothing really to start with. A shirt and some cookies.
Press C to enter 3rd person view, or to return to 1st.

Look on the ground, right click on some grassy area. Choose Natures Lore and select Search for Plant Fibre. Find at least 2 - 3 of these.

After this and the following actions press TAB to return to free look and move.

Now walk up to any tree. Right click on tree, choose Forestry Inspect Tree. That will show you info about the tree, including how many branches you can get off it. Now right click on tree and choose Snap Branch. Get again 2 - 3 branches.

Now find a spot on the ground, usually on a slope or hill, it will look like rock. Right click on ground in that area, and choose Prospecting, Search for Useful Flint Stone. Again, get 2 -3 of these.

Now open inventory with I. Right click on branch and choose Craft Primitive tool. Choose tool to craft. Add items needed, usually a few fibre a branch or two and some flint.

Now you may place your tool on your paperdoll to equip it. It must be on the doll to be useful to you.

To use as a weapon? Open your skill book. L key. On the first page is a skill that looks like a guy with a pitchfork. Thats militia service. Click on it. You will see on the book page a few differnt icons, Drag them all, or the one you want to your hotbar. You will see they corrospond to body postition of your tool / weapon.

Now push R key to go to combat stance. Or simply push the hotkey that matches your tool / weapon placement. Push again to put away, or R key.

As always, be careful playing with sharp pointy things, or blunt heavy things. You hit your neighbor, word gets around,,,, in the form of your alignment.

Clay is golden little streaks on the map, press M and zxoom in and scroll across the map, youll see tiny slivers of yellowish texture on the map. Go there and youll see the terrain is different, dig on it to get clay.

aye, you wont see it if its not a big fat visible vein on the surface. You have to dig for it where the prospecting shows some to be.

How prospecting works? I cant find any sign of cooper ore. Status says "you find traces of ore", but i don´t see nothing.

takes lots of digging to make a dent. If your on a rock surface you get rock. dirt is soil. If your on an ore vien and you have mining skill you get ore.

do you have terraforming at 60? http://lifeisfeudal.gamepedia.com/Terraforming unless you use flatten ground on digging with shovel it wont even up or smooth out. Pickaxe yes, for tunnels.
