I noticed Garibaldi and hammerhead shark were missing

guys blue and brown color Betta was finally added in this version of the game!

there's currently Pelagic Dudes too but it used to didn't exist, that's why it wasn't included

I have like 60+ hours on this game and I did'nt know there were so many painted variants.

Why is there so many types of Bettas

There is a Google spreadsheet checklist that you can download a copy of, if you want to have a personal checklist of all the fish in the entire game, including all of the painted variants and the few fish missing from here. Frogfish (supposedly) has 5 painted variations
Garbaldi (supposedly) has 4 painted variations
Hammerhead (supposedly) has 4 painted variations

I went hunting to literally write everything down and now my hand hurts.

-personal note- fuck the devs for not putting this in game. genuinely, I have OCD and when I got my first painted variant, it kinda killed the whole game for me cause now its a fucking treasure hunt to find every goddamn variant, some of which I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT. its really not that hard to put the variants in the catalog of fish. EVERY COLLECTATHON game fuck has it.

First off all, thanks for this collection list, its great. Second, to those who have been having issues with getting the alternate paints of a variety of fish such at the blue-pink (not sure what colour it is, but the one with two colours merging) betta, ensure that your fish have already reached adulthood. Both standard fish and the normal painted need to be adult, by ensuring this you should be able to achieve all the alternative paints. Goodluck fishin' :)

Yay, I've been looking for an accurate collection list. Last I saw even the wiki wasn't entirely accurate (specifically it was missing a painted Betta, it was also not easily looked at either)
