GM Araçoiaba version 2.0

This version will be the final one, except for some minor bug fixes

With this version I consider the geometry finished, more unique buildings have been added, general geometry polishing, map optimization and simplification of certain areas, reduction of the map file size, addition of nav mesh navigation, addition of new art in certain buildings.

with this I consider the map finished, I spent a lot of time on it, it's not perfect but for the limitations of gmod and hammer I consider it a good map, I would love to know what you thought after playing the map, send me an email to [email protected], thank you very much!.

What is gm_araçoiaba?

GM_Araçoiaba is a map or 3d set based on a city in the interior of São Paulo
It has a square, a main church, some neighborhoods with buildings inspired by real buildings and beautiful land around it.

The original idea was to create a sandbox map at the graphical level of l4d2 for gmod, for this I chose the city I live in as a base, the map was developed over 3 years, I don't consider the map ready, I intend to polish it in the future

The optimization was done in several ways, fading models and other geometries, I believe the final result is satisfactory given the scale.

Why did you want to make the map?

At first the idea was to see if I could make the center of my city in the hammer editor and I used that to learn everything from how to use the program to geometry techniques etc., however I soon discovered that gmod really doesn't deal well with many models being rendered at once., the lack of a video card in my computer somehow gave me a parameter to optimize the map
