The ones I've uploaded are all done with the ingame filters. I think the filter I used on this one was Calradian Autumn. Other than that it's just a matter of tweaking the exposure and focus, as well as tweaking the field of view and moving the camera accordingly (it makes a big difference). I know a lot of the more popular screenshots that people upload are touched up in Photoshop.
The actual natural lighting of the map you're in + time of day also play a big part in being able to get really crisp shots. With the right lighting, you can cycle through all the filters to see which one will compliment it the best. Calradian Autumn and Pop are two of my favorites. You can also find a lot of use for the Cultural filters (like Khuzait and Sturgian Soft/Harsh).
