I was totally unaware of the 7 year rule (2600 days) and the review ban.
Bans disappear from profiles when surpassing 2600days (still active, just hidden)
If you got banned from a non valve game you can still play any other vac enabled games. (from experience)
Lots of people instantly have things against you as soon they see the red text on the profile. :c
Lots of groups may never allow you in them, like certain collector groups (makes no sense in it tbh)
You can no longer vote or review free to play games or f2p workshop (You can still subscribe or play them though)
Valve also keeps saying bans are permanent but what they dont say is that the game devs themselves can lift the ban. Which simply means its possible to get it lifted if you believe the ban was not justified.
Wish you all the best.
I have a handful of tools and security protection running, and haven't played any other VAC Protected things in ages.
I triggered it many times though, so it might have a threshold.
