ST: New Horizons TNG era start
only 4.0.21 Compatible

  • TNG mode is activated via the 4 Pre-TNG Era Maps only
  • It is recommended to run with the submod, as this changes the date and removes certain empires
  • If you run without the submod and want to play UFP, select them from the Empire screen NOT United Earth/Vulcan/Andor or Tellar
  • Date only changes with the submod
  • There is a known 2-5min wait on loading the map, this is where the techs are added and the map is sorted. We have reduced this as far as possible for now... moaners will be fed to the Gorn.

Instruction:
---> new game ----> select your empire
---> pick one of the 2 new PRE TNG milky way maps (1400 and 3000 stars)

If you want to play from the year 2300 onwards (which is basically PRE TNG era),
then subscribe to:

STNH main mod
THIS mod
1 UI mod (optional)
music mod ( optional)
and when you're selecting the maps ingame, pick one of the PRE TNG maps.
and if you're planning to play as the federation, then pick the federation (2300) species.

If you want to start from 2150, then do NOT use this mod, and you can choose from all the maps EXCEPT the "PRE TNG maps".

Hi, I'm new to this mod, and Stellaris, so I'm a little confused, as the link I followed here from the UI theme pages, called this the "Pre-TNG Era" mod, yet the title says "TNG Era", and the requirements are "Pre-TNG Era" maps. From reading the comments, I'm assuming now this mod is not needed for a pre-TNG era start, as the base mod does that already, and this is just mislabelled on the UI theme pages, but then why would it need pre-TNG era maps, and then what maps should I use for the base game?

As you can see, I'm in need of some clarification, to what seems to be a lot of contradiction, for a puzzled newbie.

Hi folks, got a weird one. I'm trying to start a TNG game and every time I do , I get 2 earths, 2 Sol systems in different parts of the map. Think I'm doing it right but it is hard to tell if i've got the correct era or not.

Just curious if by design is the system near orion supposed to be part of the neutral zone? Its so far away. Also arent they supposed to be female dominated>? Love your mod and thanks for your work.

Just tried the Roms on the 3k system map; same result as with the 1,400 system (pre-TNG) map. I just can't figure out how to actually do a TNG start.
