How to Use?
  • Subscribe to the mod.
  • Acquire Gunsmith Tools
  • Repair and scrap firearms at will.

FAQ
  • Works with any mod weapons.
  • Compatible with old saves too.
  • Works in multiplayer.
  • Gunsmith Tools are commonly spawning in military spots.
  • All attachments, magazines and ammo loaded into gun are preserved when weapon is scrapped.

How it works
  • Firearms repair system is completely replaced with the system below that will now require Gunsmith Tools to be acquired.

  • Firearms now yield weapon parts of various types: Handgun, Revolver, Shotgun, Rifle, Assault Rifle. These can be used to repair weapons using the simple interface below.

  • Players will now have additional Firearms skill named "Gunsmith". Scrapping and repairing weapons will increase chances of them being succesfully repaired and scrapped. Veteran and Police Officer profession add experience bonuses to this skill as well as higher base chance to repair and scrap weapons.
  • Weapon parts are used one at a time and amount of them depends on quality of weapon and its condition.

Configuration
You can configure experience gained from sources, as well as amount of weapon parts salvaged

Hi, i can't get this mod to work. i get the options and get the tools, but when i click the maintenance panel, both options for repair and scrapping, are bordered in red, and cannot be clicked. i have the gunsmith skill in my skill list and everything, the options are just red. the only real gun mods i have, is guns of 93', in case that happens to incompatible, and advanced trajectory.

@plamenovnevyan Mod is universal, it will work with any firearms from any mods as long as they are using conventional Zomboid weapon typings. Which they mostly do.
