This Guide: Who its for and what it does
I intend this guide to be for people who have already read Steins;Gate once or twice and are just stuck figuring out how to get to one route or another. If you haven't read through blind at least once, close this guide and go do that. Everyone should have the experience of having absolutely no idea what's going on at least once. The only thing you might want to know (that took me a while to figure out) is that the blue text in the regular emails are options you can click on.

But once you've done that, if you're just looking to 100% it with minimal brainpower, there are plenty of walkthroughs. This is not a walkthrough. My aim is to explain the basic structure of the choices, how they lead to different outcomes, allowing you to find the various endings yourself. Some of the information I will present will be blindingly obvious. Others is information I didn't figure out until I'd thoroughly read both this VN, and "My Darling's Embrace", which essentially uses the exact same structural mechanics.

In short, this guide is for the reader who wants to find as much content with as little help as possible.
Dmails: The Ladder Structure
For the most part, this VN uses a simple ladder structure. From time to time, you have the option of sending a DMail by interacting with the phone. Whether you choose to do so determines whether you will choose an early ending, or continue on the common route to other endings. And that's it. Pretty simple.

The first example of this is when you have the option of sending a DMail which will prevent Okabe from preventing Suzuha from leaving before the storm. Send it, and you continue on the common route. Don't send it, and you get the Suzuha ending. All but one of the other endings work the same way. That exception will be covered in the next section.
Regular Emails: The Exception
For the most part, the regular emails are just there to add additional flavor. It's actually kind of a shame they only affect the outcome for one single route, since it makes the method of finding that final ending highly unintuitive.

For that one ending, it's a simple matter of using the emails to build a relationship with the missing character, and avoiding building a relationship with the others. Note that there are endings that result in romance for every character, except for Moeka. If you are missing one (or two!), try reading through again, only this time, focus your regular email attention on that character (and avoid the others). Don't be afraid to save before an email choice, read what the choice actually says, and then reload to find one that looks like it will lead where you want it to lead.
Addendum: My Darling's Embrace
Note that this logic works for My Darling's Embrace, as well! If you've already read Steins;Gate and understand the layout, you are ready to get all the endings in My Darling's Embrace without resorting to a walkthrough. Just like this one, it's a simple dmail controlled ladder structure for most of the endings, with a final ending locked behind the emails. If you are looking for a particular ending and can't find it, the strategy that works with Steins;Gate will also work with My Darling's Embrace.

I just emailed everyone back as I didn't want to be a dick and I got the ending I really hoped I wouldn't get

Thank you for this I did not know this at all, I feel like that's kind of stupid though since I just wanted to email back to the characters I liked and I didn't know it would involve any romance and I'm already on chapter 5 so...I'll just ignore everyone except Kuristina and hope for the best, thanks!
