I don't know how slaughtering about 100.000 people from a population of 1.5-2 million is not considered a "slaughter on a mass scale." Though if you mean that it's way of perpetration was not by fire or nuclear war then OK, i guess? That makes the Jewish holocaust not a holocaust as well because it wasn't done specifically using fire or nuclear weapons.

The British wanted Palestinian cooperation for establishing a mandate in Palestine and promised them independence just like how they promised Saud family and Syria/Iraq independence.
