I stole stuff from multiple puzzles in different areas. It's even possible to jump directly into the goal of the golden gate puzzle by stealing a cube in South 3. It's not active though until you get to the act were the golden gate puzzles open.

Haha yeah, I used the stolen connector to get the star here too.

I stole the connector the same way as you to solve the Pandora Spark puzzle :D
Good thinking with the teleporter and the boxes. I tried to jump from the podest in puzzle 8, but that does not work.
