Stats



There are 7 stats
  • 6 of them will be influenced by emotions and traits of your character
  • Exception: Training level can only be raised by assigning a character to training (role)

Traits



There are 8 character traits:
  • Violent
  • Peaceful
  • Empathetic
  • Hopeful
  • Pragmatic
  • Emotional
  • Selfish
  • Depressed
Certain (combinations of) character traits will:
  • trigger events
  • determine choices available in events
  • set context for keyword outcome
Example:
Giving a "SADISTIC" (keyword) answer
  • can boost a "VIOLENT" (trait) character's "HAPPINESS" (emotion) => (+ SKL | - TGH)
  • makes an "EMOTIONAL" (trait) character feel "ANGER" (emotion) => (+ STR | - INT)
Emotions



There are 4 pairs of emotions:
  • None - Disgust
  • Anger - Fear
  • Pride - Shame
  • Sadness - Happiness
Your run will be influenced by moods, as emotional reactions are tied to stat changes. There are 2 types of "mood" events:
  • Rumination:
    • passive, your character is feeling in a certain way
    • 1 character is affected
  • Conversation:
    • active, you're presented with several choices
    • 2 characters are affected


Stat changes
  • Are permanent and can't be undone
  • 1 emotion always affects 2 stats
  • One stat will be increased and one is lowered by 1 point each
  • The gain/loss for a pair of emotions is inverted
Example:
  • ANGER (emotion) will increase STR (stat) and decrease INT (stat), while FEAR does the opposite.
  • Exception: NONE (no stat change) and DISGUST (+AMR | -AGI)
Keywords in conversations


Your party members will start conversations, where you'll have to choose a reaction.
