Unyielding is great because it is getting you to two shot Bulwars, Reapers and increases your boss damage. Keep in mind all bosses are Unyielding.
Maniac is there to reach two shot full charge Mutant breakpoint, and help you reach the flamer kill with less than full charge. It also helps with killing maniac Ragers.
You can switch either to Carapace, but the only damage increase from Carapace would be to Crushers, which is a much less enveloping damage type. I wouldn’t suggest running it for this reason.
Enfeeble is a good amount of damage increase, but after testing it meticulously I found out that it is not helping me reach an extra one less charged hit breakpoint on any enemies.
I used to pick it, but there are only four options for the one last skill point you have.
You cannot drop:
- 3 Stacks of Empowered Psyonics because it is much better to repeatedly Smite stuff and still have damage amp going if you need to Smite.
- Quell Speed is pretty much necessary.
- %30 Warp damage increase is insane.
- One of your Toughness talents, but venting tougness gain talent is really good for survival.
- Ignite on Elite/Special kills is incredible damage ramp-up when combined with your ultimate. It also stacks up to at least 6 most of the time because of your insane kill speed.
- Kinetic Deflection gives you ridiculous clutch potential and safety in melee range.
So it was between these options, and I decided to drop the %10 damage increase. It didn't feel good, but I don't have much wiggle room.
If you wish to change the build to include Enfeeble though, go for it. I myself wouldn't recommend it though.
