Of course, names will most likely need to be agreed upon by your fellow Se(a)men,

What NOT to do:
-Be unoriginal and name boats after your favorite Azur Lane Waifus.
-I SWEAR TO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOD DON'T ^

-DO NOT EVEN MENTION AZUR LANE!

-DO NOT THINK IT

-DON'T EVEN BREATH THE WORDS OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS YOU HEAR ME!?

What to do:
-Be original (This means at least TRY and come up with something that didn't already exist during WW2)

-Make sure you have a dedicated crew for your ship and you all agree on a name

-Have fun, because at the end of the day this ♥♥♥♥ is just a game and navy's will probably become obsolete or not worth the effort after a couple weeks anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EXAMPLES FOR NAMING YOUR SHIP:
For Battleships: The names may vary, but the best names to represent these beasts of steel would be the names of some of the settlements on the map. (I.E. CNS Loch Moore)

Cruisers: Name these after small towns or any famous battle that may run as an inside joke amongst your friends (trust me it will be funny or some ♥♥♥♥)

Destroyers: Idk just name it after your grandma or smthn

Submarines: mmm... fish...
