Technically, particle textures are not subject to unloading so reside in VRAM while the game even though these textures are completely not showed in the screen.
By the way the total size of textures in this mod's particle assets is 15MB.
No, sadly can't. Half-tansparent texture can be used in very limited situations on Kenshi.
I think in particles (like this mod), shirt texture (strictly it's not, it multiplies colors by alpha) and water surface. That's all.
So unless someone publishes a modding of the game built-in shader which is very complex and difficult, it is not possible to render anything else with transparency.
btw an UC samurai hologram would be cool too, and maybe a shek, or mad catlon etc :>
