I have tips for anyone who wants them and its all about Wyvern, because he is the problem. Giganto and Knight can be damage raced pretty quickly.
You will most certainly lose the most rings against Wyvern, or have lost runs because of Wyvern. Trying to fit in as much as damage when you get to is so key.
After your first volley of attacks, Wyvern attacks again and you can parry this to get a grandslam prompt. You DON'T have do it immediately, add some more stomps or a cross slash in and then do it.
You can extend your time in an attacking phase by quick cyclooping, which also increases your damage.
Ideally, you make it to his second phase in two cycles. And ideally his second phase only takes two cycles. Voidvessel is right that grandslam can potentially hurt you if it doesn't lead to a cutscene.
now to do the whole dlc in hard mode. wish me luck.
I'll do that. Thanks for the suggestion. I personally use a Switch Controller for it so the controls might be a bit different than yours
