What are Apostles?
Apostles (使徒) are inhumans who, typically having acquired and activated a beherit in a moment of anguish, summoned the God Hand and joined the ranks of demonkind in exchange for a precious sacrifice. The sacrifice required is always a thing that defines their humanity – something which, when relinquished, is as if abandoning a part of one's soul. Apostles have only one absolute law decreed on them by the God Hand: "Do as thou wilt," allowing them to act with free will in how they use their ascended status of being. However, this law does not protect them from one another, allowing apostles loyal to the God Hand to eliminate those who interfere with their designs. While apostles are free to do as they please, most heed the call of the God Hand when they are needed and possess a "maddening" instinct which compels them in the presence of a God Hand member.
Pseudo-Apostle
Pseudo-apostles (使徒擬しともどき), or simply pseudos (もどき), are humans who have been transformed by an apostle into demonic spawn. Each pseudo-apostle usually bears an appearance reflecting its creator, be it mentally or physically. Like true apostles, pseudo-apostles revert to their human form after death. For example; Mozgus
Apostles and Pseudo-apostles in the game.
The game has 4 arcs in its story mode Black Swordsman, Golden Age, Conviction, Millennium Falcon Arc (also this is the manga's order) not included the Last Children and Fantasia arcs so the Apostles from that arcs are not in the game, so I will not talk about them here.
Chronologically from the games plot the arcs are the following:
- Golden Age Arc
- Black Swordsman Arc
- Conviction Arc
- Millennium Falcon Arc

The Apostles of each arc are the following:

Golden Age Arc: Zodd, Wylad, Femto
Black Swordsman Arc: Snake Baron, Count
Conviction: Its the Egg Apostle but in the game we only have a Pseudo aka Mozgus
Millennium Falcon Arc: Zodd, Slan, Grunbeld, Ganishka
Nosferatu Zodd
Zodd is a legendary swordsman and powerful apostle said to have killed thousands of adversaries on the battlefield. After intervals of inactivity and purported death, Zodd resurfaces on the battlefield to continue his slaughter,[2] having done so unmitigated for roughly 300 years.

He possesses an intense thirst for battle only sated by his long-spanning rivalry with the Skull Knight. His search for the "ultimate strong one" leads him to submit to an incarnated Griffith, whom he serves as one of the White Falcon's most trusted warriors in the reborn Band of the Falcon.
Wylad
Wyald (ワイアルド Waiarudo?) was an apostle who was the leader of the Black Dog Knights, an army of convicted murderers and r***** working for the Kingdom of Midland.Possessing ape features and abnormal fighting abilities, Wyald was characterized by his carefree personality, wanton bloodlust and se@@ality.
Femto
Griffith is the current leader of the reborn Band of the Falcon and supreme commander of the Midland Regular Army. Having been at the fore of many battles, he has amassed a reputation as a savior across the continent, and is revered as the "Falcon of Light".

As the leader of the original Band of the Falcon, he and his mercenaries are able to end the Hundred-Year War and bring peace to the war-torn kingdom of Midland. Following the desertion of his most trusted confidant Guts, Griffith beds Princess Charlotte on impulse, bringing about his imprisonment, year-long crippling torture, and the seeming demise of his dream. Though he is eventually rescued by the band, his state of extreme invalidity and undying desire to obtain his own kingdom compel him to sacrifice his comrades during the fifth Eclipse, for kinsmanship with the God Hand as their fifth member Femto – a demonic, idealized version of himself stripped of his human inhibitions. In time, he is incarnated into the Physical World, concerned solely with the realization of his dream, which comes to pass with his thwarting of the Kushan invasion of Midland, the Great Roar of the Astral World he prompts, and the rise of his utopian capital city, Falconia.
Snake Lord
The Snake Lord] was the apostle ruler of Koka, residing in the town castle. He demanded provisions of gold and human cattle for food from the town mayor, in exchange for not turning his malice toward the entirety of the town's residents. He was eventually hunted down, defeated, and left for dead by Guts.
The Count
The Count was an apostle nobleman presiding over a territory which Guts visited during the swordsman's two-year war against demonkind. He ultimately died in a bout with the Black Swordsman, dragged into the Vortex of Souls after being unable to sacrifice his daughter, Theresia, in exchange for new life.
Mozgus
Mozgus is the most feared and famous Holy See inquisitor. He travels with his group of personal torturers to the city of Albion. His symbol is four breaking wheels. He is the main antagonist of the Conviction Arc, hindering Guts' efforts in saving Casca with his excessive religious zeal.
Slan
Slan is a member of the God Hand, and in particular the only female member of the group at present.
Much like her fellow God Hand members, Slan's past life as a human is unknown. However, Slan has actively influenced humanity through the cult of the Goddess of Flame, who have held c@nn1b@listic pagan 0rg13s in her honor without knowing of her role or status as a God Hand member.
Grunbeld
Grunbeld (グルンベルド ) the "Great Flame Dragon" is an apostle who serves together with Zodd, Locus, Irvine and Rakshas under the reborn Griffith in his Band of the Falcon.

Grunbeld is the leader of the Band of the Falcon giants. Before he joined the band, he became famous during the Hundred-Year War, defending against Tudor's invasion with only his personal force of 3000 soldiers. His backstory is revealed in the novel Berserk: The Flame Dragon Knight.
Ganishka
Ganishka was a Kushan emperor and one of the most powerful known apostles. He desired first and foremost to extend the territory under his control to every corner of the world. Unlike most apostles, Ganishka opposed the God Hand – Griffith in particular – and aimed to transcend them, in stark contrast to others of his kind.
