Lore:
A species of predatory, salt water amphibian; from the Tr'allanga home world.

Lifestyle and behaviour is very similar to earth Axolotls, but with several notable differences.

Unlike earth Axolotls, these animals never stay still for long, will team up in large packs to destroy larger prey, and are active pursuit predators.

It can also, unlike the axolotl, live on both land, and underwater, unlike the exclusively aquatic axolotl; but prefers to live in coastal, tropical regions where fish are plentiful.

Breaths underwater by pumping water through a set of internal, specialised gill-lungs, and out of vent holes in its shell; which it uses to boost its speed like a jet.
On land; it just uses its lungs like normal; closing up its vents with muscle rings.

Its blood and bite are also venomous; which is why its so bright in colour like a wasp.

Extra notes regrading biology:

Its blood is filled with a compound that acts like cyanide when ingested by a predator; stopping them from absorbing oxygen and killing them, making them unlikely to be eaten by most predators; except specialist ones with toxin resistance; and each other.

Its venom on the other hand is a paralytic blood thinner; forcing the prey to freeze up and bleed out.
They will often swarm larger prey in packs and dose it with venom till it dies; then shred it into nothing.

But despite all this, they are remarkably unintelligent; and will always fall for the same traps set by fishermen; as their brain is disproportionately small compared to its body.
