To play Assassins Creed 1 you have to disconnect your internet, then in graphics enable Vsync otherwise you will die everytime you do the leap of faith into haystacks.......

now before that, you only have to go youtube type "Assassin's Creed Director's Cut | Constant Freezing Fix" on a channel named TheHylainKnight, and do as he says because 17 year old game is still trying to connect to ubisoft servers and thats the cause of constant freezes
