Hello! As most of us know Doom has a lot of mods...like a LOT and even If you are not modding the game playing a source port that makes the game more fluid and polished than it's original relase is always a good thing and one of those ports is GZDoom and Im here to teach you how to get it working.

If you don't have GZDoom downloaded you can download it by clicking on this glowing bad boy[zdoom.org]

• Okay First Go to the Game's Location(by default it's on the image below)
  

• Then Enter the Folder named base and drop everything that's inside of GZDoom Zip there
  
• Delete dosbox.exe inside the same folder and rename gzdoom.exe into dosbox.exe

After this just launch the game by selecting this option and you are good to go:

If you downloaded GZDoom for modding purposes and want the mod to automaticly load when you launch the game you need to configure the gzdoom.ini located here and follow the steps below:

• Once you located the .ini file open it and locate the section named [doom.Autoload]
  
• Then type Path=*files name* right under
  
• For Example:
  

Afterwards just launch doom from the option showed above and your mod will automaticly load
