that you scrubbing said fan favourite character's backstory out of the game and removing a boatload of his random voicelines ends up shielding legitimate issues like Police Brutality from genuine artistic and tasteful criticism that was also a core part of BenBirdland/Bigband's identity as a character.

They saw a whole character origin dedicated around being anti police brutality and showing Bigband as a heroic vigilante past his trauma as somehow being "problematic" sheerly due to involving police brutality,
despite the fact it obviously framed that as a bad thing going as far as to have one of the main offending officers be a anthropomorphic literal P I G.
The fact that they objected to that intro in a time where it's more relevant than ever and has been a talking point in the past 3 years yet didn't object either the years before that or while it was actively a hot talking point is incredibly ironic. (Not anti cop BTW, I'm anti police corruption)

And devaluing what a powerful and dedicated person Ben is for still staying a dedicated force of good and fighting to protect other people from suffering similar injustices and doing everything he can to protect the victim outcasts that he has found as part of his dedicated family he will put his life on the line to help make safe, including Patrica/Peacock who ends up being somewhat as a adopted daughter figure to him.

And you've removed/censored a boatload of content of all types from the game, ranging from backstories, whole characters like Ms Victoria, voicelines, whole voice options, huge chunks of the story cutscenes, a bunch of the gallery including a Cancer Fundraiser, whole voice options like Saxploitation and Russian Announcer, a boatload of voicelines, random visual gags and details (How does changing syringes to ninja stars help?), pretty much all with no replacement,
had a whole bunch of weird censor choices like censoring mainly fully grown adult women like Cerebella, did nothing to censor violence aside from Bigband, censored Fillia's panties (usually just the colour) but not her being harassed in the literal first scene in the game, much more, and etc and etc, and even patched the damn art book to miss a lot of content and ban people showing how to revert changes.

Congratulations Hidden Variable and Autumn Games, your attempt to sacrifice the series you took from LabZero and Alex Ahad in a vain attempt to virtue signal to like maybe 10 insignificant people on Twitter and Reddit who have zero legitimate interest in ever touching this series ending up backfiring and exposing how anti consumer, anti art, and many other things you truly are, and you've contributed to systematic problems like racism and corruption in society,
because you see any mention of a legitimate issue in life as advertiser unfriendly and might scare of the children you're trying to get addicted to the lootboxes in your mobile gacha spin-off and also see anything relating to a black character as potentially offensive due to your own insensitive overprojections.

THANKS HV/AG, THANK YOU FROM SAVING THE CHILDREN by removing all of the heart and soul and integrity in this TEEN/MATURE RATED HARDCORE FIGHTING GAME, that had elements like that setting itself apart from every other game in the genre. With all the stuff you've censored having next to noone complaining prior, while ignoring any improvements that could be tweaked in good faith.
It makes fans of this series VERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HAPPY to see one of our fave games treated like trash by the people who now own it. :)"
