描述
Half-Life: 2 and Team Fortress 2 textures with Counter-Strike Source sky boxes
I simply merged them for convenience and creativity

What this mod item changes are mostly world textures and the sky boxes
You will experience a very random, unique, clever, texture experience
Simply merged and combined multiple texture packs together as one
Originally a quick random test, a "what if" scenario, to see how game experience changes
Just a brief test of custom content and mostly testing Steam Workshop features
Please check the attached screenshots for examples if you're curious
Didn't expect so many people to actually take a liking to this in the end

Most of the credits originally go to Valve for the actual Source games

User "Yoru" credit for the Cry of Fear Psykskallar Aesthetics mod
I acknowledge the origins and apologize for inconvenience of lack of clarity in credits
Most, if not all, credits still go to Team Psykskallar for Cry of Fear textures
Although I used the texture only version as the base, I realize it's the same content

Let it also be known, there has been communication in the past with other users
I have previously spoken to Matt BNY and others for Half-Life 2 textures
Conversations still remain in the comments for the Half-Life and Team Fortress content
"Matt BNY" and "Groxxy" have been fully aware of this and fine with it
But also, a reminder, a lot of these were just the original unmodified textures
Therefore, original credits still remain mostly Valve

Just go with me for a sec, okay
We have all done our own fair share of unique work, spent a lot of time and effort
So many of us share the same or similar passions here regarding texture mod packs
Everyone's been properly credited, and we all just want to have a good time and enjoy the game
We've gained amazing support and praise for our clever ideas, lots of favorites and subscribers
I appreciate 37,000 visitors, 20,000 subscribers, 1,400 favorites, 1,500 collections, 300 ratings
Honestly didn't expect my workshop item test experiment to gain popularity, yet here we are
People take a liking to mixing up random textures from various games so it's here to stay

As of latest current update, November 13, 2024:
VPK filename has changed, delete previous version if you downloaded from "Game Maps" site
User "Mechanic" also seems to have quit the community and his items again
I've made an attempt to reach out to him about including his color corrections
Friend request has been sent, and we can discuss the contribution later if necessary
However, his profile is private, and he doesn't appear to be replying to comments
Seems to have not been active in the community for over two years
The same appears to be for Methadone Kitty, unfortunately, but several years

Looks perfect, thanks. By the way, I have no problem with how you made this mod, my issue was entirely in the description, and people doing report abuse should calm down, everything on this workshop belongs to valve, so we're free to combine, split, and edit as we see fit. Combination mods are a great way to get into modding.

Does this replace the game’s default textures? or just add new ones incase a mod uses them.

to be honest, i'm not sure why those are even options
maybe Valve/Steam were experimenting with something in workshop's early days
but as far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be anything preventing anyone downloading
