Open the console: press tilde key ~
(looks different on non US layout: the key above Tab, on the left of 1, under Esc).
Type in a code and press Enter key to activate.

Most cheats can be deactivated by entering them again.
Tip: Use up/down arrow keys to browse command history.

Cheats and console commands are all case-sensitive.
Cheats must be activated while in the relevant section of the game.

Cheat activation state does not save, so any cheats are disabled after restarting the game.
You can use hotkey binds for convenient activation of any cheat codes.



SKELEWRENCH
Install any engine and any wheels on any car.

MONKEYWRENCH
Remove parts without disassembly required.

PEGAWRENCH
Part mover - click parts to move them into different/silly positions.
Click the chassis for an option to reset all.
Part position/rotation axis can be individually reset by right-clicking the value readout.

NOISEBOMB
Enables SL2 exhaust tips in the Catalog for SL1 cars.
Use the part mover cheat to move them into better-looking positions.
For context, these normally-hidden parts are shipped with the game for use by imported SL2 cars (see car_convert folder).



STICKREEL
Machine gun mode for decals.
Select a decal, then input the cheat.
You'll be automatically switched to spray mode, with the previously selected decal effectively serving as the nozzle effect.
Change nozzle to disable.

RICETHERICE
Sprinkle rice onto your ricemobile!
Select the "Oval" nozzle, and go crazy with the mouse!
Creates a somewhat crayon-like effect when drawing normal lines.

ARTOFTHEDISTANT
Scales spray size and lowers intensity based on distance between camera and sprayed surface.
Select a non-default nozzle to spray psychedelic candy patterns!
Darker colors have stronger effect! Cheat effects disabled at below 1m distance.



RATHERWALK
Disables first person mode lock-out.
Press F1 like normal to toggle the mode.
Car purchases/selection are non-functional in this mode.
Maps are obviously not designed for this mode either!
Just something for a bit of janky fun :)



CODRIVER
Display a dynamic 'best route' line.
You can right-click intersections to adjust its course to your preference.
Right-click the same intersection again to remove the added 'control points'.

GREENCHEETAH
Change the position of the starting line by holding Shift on click.

RACEMEWITH <filename>
Input a name of a saved car alongside the cheat, to change what the current opponent is driving.
Exmaple: "RACEMEWITH superaxis".
To save a car, use the "savecar" console command.
This cheat cannot be undone for the current opponent!



CODRIVER2
This is just like the regular CODRIVER cheat, but also enables the navigator to rotate. Also, this can be activated anytime, not just in Race Setup, though dynamic route line won't immediately appear if you activate it mid-race.

VALOSFINEST
Spawns additional cops, with similar frequency to normal traffic cars.
Input repeatedly to spawn more!
(resets on traffic despawn - visiting garage/shop or activating the code below)

MRPLOW
Reduces mass of traffic cars to only 5%, making them much safer (and more fun!) to smash into.
Does not affect mass of racers nor cops. All traffic is respawned upon activating the cheat, potentially into inconvenient positions, like right in front of you.
Available in game options as "Lightweight Traffic" since Update May.10.2024.



STUNTMAN
Rolls your car!
Useful for getting back on the wheels, or entering into a couple cinematic rolls after a handbrake turn at speed!

BANDAID
Restores chassis condition up to 80%.
Intended to allow you to keep driving after the chassis hits 0%. Does not repair deformation!

Cheats can be bound to hotkeys!

Binding examples:
"bind F10 PEGAWRENCH"
"bind 3 STUNTMAN"
"bind k RATHERWALK"

Unbinding examples:
"unbind F10"
"unbindall"

To enable auto-loading of binds on startup:
"savehks defhks"
This saves all currently bound hotkeys to file "defhks"

A DEFault HotKeySet - "defhks" will be automatically loaded on game launch.

Removing auto-loaded set:
"delhks defhks"

You can also replace the filename "defhks" with anything you like, and load saved sets manually:
"loadhks <filename>"

View all currently bound hotkeys:
"hklist"

To clarify, any bind-related actions you do via Console are completely independent from those in the options menu, so "unbindall" will NOT mess up normal control binds.
