I mean I was pretty bad at timings but I guess I got a lot better at it with all the timings based levels I've done lately
Upside down wave is like really disturbing ; maybe not once you've been in that gamemode for a while, but transitionning from normal wave to it just messes with my mind all the time lmao
But yeah, the bad thing with pointercrate rankings is that it just ranks difficulty as a whole, but there are a whole lot of different types of difficutly that could influence the global rank
So you could struggle a lot more with a level in the same difficulty range, maybe even an easier one, if it just so happens to be what you're really bad at
Thanks haha, got a few runs up to the second wave now, though I already have like 8k atts lol
Yeah, I figured that I could theoretically do this level fairly soon, although I'm up to 95 demons, and I've planned out my last 5 to the big 100, starting with TLE as the 96th
I think that for me personally, timings are one of my worst gamemodes, that and upside down wave
So funny story, I had looked at pointercrate, and it listed TLE as only like 10 spots harder than Hypersonic, so I'm like "I've looked at this level before and it looks fun," and thus I started it
Yeah the difficulty spot on pointercrate may be small, but the nerve control you have to have is crazy, like, I get crazy nervous after the swingcopter
Anyways, good luck on Catalyze, you can do it!
seriously, I already got a few runs up to the end of the first wave (pre-drop gets really consistent)
but whereas it took me only around 100 practice attempts to pass the first wave in one go, it took around 400 for the second haha, really shows how harder it is
but overall I think it's a really wave heavy level
yeah, one of those less known levels that I found on the GDDP lmao, I think it's nice, though it would have been a lot more enjoyable if that first ship was nerfed haha
and I had way too many mind blocks on this one for some reason, kinda like on black blizzard
I think you'd be able to do it if you were to actually go for it at some point though (well actually it's easier than Catalyze so if you're going to try it in the future then at this point you should be able to), this one just takes a lot of learning the timings, but it's really not the same kind of difficulty as like TLE. Considering how bad I am with nerve control I'm not even sure I could beat TLE haha (well, at least not without it taking me like forever to get used to it and to not be nervous past the swingcopter)
That's also why I'm kinda scared of going for yatagarasu after that haha
though in the end, everything in this game is still a matter of perseverance
Nice job with it though, that looks really hard, I would not be able to do that in like a million years (I mean, I still haven't beaten TLE after getting past the swingcopter like 6 times now)
Anyways, good luck on Catalyze, that's a level I really wanna do in the future sometime
