Ubisoft Connect in this game is outdated and no longer works. To fix this, you need to install a new launcher. This can be done using a launcher auto-install utility like THIS ONE[github.com].
Or do everything manually according to the following INSTRUCTION[www.thecpuguide.com].
I'll explain how to do it with "NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck":
1) Download the latest "Source code (zip)" and extract it.
2) Run the file "NonSteamLaunchers.desktop".
3) Uncheck all the items and check only Ubisoft, click OK and wait for the installation to be confirmed, then by pressing the button the device will reboot.
- You can continue from this point if you followed a different installation instruction (instead of "NonSteamLaunchers" there will be a different folder name)
4) After reboot, go to "/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/NonSteamLaunchers/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft"
5) Copy the "Ubisoft Game Launcher" folder
6) Go to "/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/33320/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft"
7) Paste folder and agree to replace files
Next, you need to get the game key from Steam (right-click on the game, Manage->CD Keys). This key must be activated on your Ubisoft account. To do this, simply start the game, log in to your account and activate the key. Then close the game and open it again. You may need to re-authorize, after which the game will be successfully launched.

1) Switch to desktop mode
2) Find this guide (using any browser), download the file to your Downloads folder
3) Launch Dolphin, find and unzip the downloaded file
4) Copy "user.reg" file
5.0) Make sure you enabled Dolphin to show hidden files
5.1) Go to the folder: "/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/33320/pfx"
6) Insert the file, agree to replace

Done.

7) Вставьте папку и согласитесь на замену файлов
Далее вам необходимо взять ключ игры из Steam (нажмите правой кнопкой мыши на игру, Manage->CD Keys). Этот ключ необходимо активировать на ваш аккаунт Ubisoft. Для этого просто запустите игру, авторизуйтесь в ваш аккаунт и активируйте ключ. Затем закройте игру и откройте ее заново. Возможно потребуется повторная авторизация, после чего игра будет успешно запущена.

1) Перейти в режим рабочего стола
2) Найти этот гайд (используя любой браузер), скачать файл в папку Downloads
3) Запустить Dolphin, найти и распаковать скачанный файл
4) Скопировать файл "user.reg"
5.0) Убедитесь, что вы включили показ скрытых файлов в Dolphin
5.1) Перейти в папку: "/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/33320/pfx"
6) Вставить файл, согласиться на замену
Опционально: Установка русского перевода (только текста т.к. звук скорее всего отвратительного качества, спасибо Акелла)
7) Вернуться в папку Downloads, выделить папку "localization" и два файла "DataPC.forge" и "DataPC_LOD.forge", скопировать их
8) Перейти в папку "/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands"
9) Вставить файлы, согласиться на замену

Готово.
