How to play with a controller in Garry's Mod

In this tutorial I will show you how to play Garry's Mod on the controller in a couple of clicks.

The first thing we need to do is start Steam in Big Picture mode.

Press the monitor in the upper right corner to enter Big Picture mode

When we have opened Steam in Big Picture we need to press ESC to open the menu

After that we have to open our game library through this panel

Now we need to find our native Garry's Mod :D

When we clicked on our Garry's Mod, we need to click on the controller to change the controls for our game

Click where shown in the photo below

If the button doesn't work

Follow the instructions under the button
If the button does not work, press and try again

If that didn't work, I'm sorry.

Try to find a solution on the Internet

Let's move on

Click "Search"

Press "SHOW ALL LAYOUTS"

Enter the name of your controller here (xbox/ps)

Download whatever you want

Done!

If you're not happy with the controller controls, you can always change these settings!

To download you need:

Click on Search

Type "Urchik1982 Garry's Mod config (PS4)" and click on the first one you see.

After that, click "Apply Layout".

Now you can get in the game and play!
