You can add a dependence to this patch's page so that steam would warn every player that they have to download the original mod(in case if they won't have the original mod). You already warned the players in the description, but the way I offered just looks cleaner(imo) and the players will definitely see Steam's warning. Or you could additionally make a [PATCH] sign in its name.
Check out one of my translations (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2928120837) to see how it will look and what Steam will say. You'll see the dependence on the right side of the page and you'll see the warning in case you try to download it without the original mod.
