Gameplay Tips
Thank you for reading this guide. My intent is not to duplicate the guides that are already created but to update the player and share the experiences as I played it through. This game is casual fun. The combat is not serious but necessary. There is a lot to miss in the game if you only go for the story.

General Tips:

LOOT - Not much loot in the game. I say that cuz everything has a use. There is nothing to sell or break down so if you are a seasoned hoarder, like me, your storage chest will fill in good time. Too many torches! I had some trouble with the RNG and that made some items very tough to collect. Some items have one time caches but after that its up to you to kick open every barrel. Among the toughest I found was Garlic, Sap and Spores. Thorners are rare only due to the way the Wasteland creates itself after a storm. Never found those any other way.

SECRET STASH - Each map has either a hole to dig, a satchel to grab, or both. It might take a minute to find the rat hole to burrow. If you get the CLEW, don't be afraid to use it. You can pick it back up and use it again! As Dog Form, you can dig even if you don't have a shovel.

GOLD is best found in the Moonstone chests. Doing that gives you a good chance for other rare items as well. Making potions for the Kiosk seemed to be okay early, really early, but not pay off in the long run. After duplicate potions are given, the reward goes down.

COMBAT - Before you go slashing like crazy remember you are not a warrior. You are a Warden. No jumping, dodging or combat rolls here. This dude trips over every rock in the way. Blocking is available, but you'll learn to not need it. There is no experience gained from killing so just get what you need and move on. Stealing from enemies is fun and not always a guarantee, be ready for the fail.

WEAPONS - Most utility tools still do damage. It's not worth fighting unless you have to. Once you get a sword you can battle pretty well. USE THEM! No point in saving them for later. They pop up everywhere are are pretty cheap to make. Once you research Claws, you can enhance them to deal 20 damage. That's great, BUT, they are seven pounds and that take so much space in your inventory. You can enhance the AX and SHOVEL to deal 20 damage and they only weigh three pounds each. Amulets and other trinkets just take up space in your inventory and it won't be tough to survive without them.

EVASION - You cannot fast travel while being targeted or in a storm. You'll know you are targeted by the red arrow in a circle around the feet of your Warden. It points to the direction of the nearest enemy chasing you. You can kite every enemy in the game and if they ever catch up, there is a pause before they attack. Thankfully there is no contact damage so even the speedy ghouls will be trailing waiting for a swing at you. That easily gives you the opportunity for escape. You can go in and out of water also as most enemies cannot navigate it well. Not sure if I ever used the sprint option, it's not effective. Just lead the trail to the nearest exit and away you go.

DYING - Not a problem usually. No item is hard to find twice so if you lose your satchel you won't miss anything from it. It is possible to go without dying once you learn combat but you'll miss the Undertaker. If you are playing for story then you don't need him for anything.

FOLLOWERS - They aren't the best fighters but they can help. Try not to get attached as they are very easy to replace if they die. I put all of my followers in the pen. Just lead them to a place to stand and tell them to wait. They can also serve as storage as they will stay put. Put one at a fog to serve as a quick loot dump when exploring. Followers are fun but they will not accompany you at the story final.

WAITING - While in the map, waiting can be useful. All it does is progress time as long as you have the button down. You'll see time moving by the countdown timers that you select. Just hover over an area and switch to the event column on the left of the screen. All timers in that area will be on display and when you wait, it advances regular game time speed. You can use this while timing the Undertaker for the SHOO! achievement.

FINAL BOSS - Don't worry about completing achievements before you venture to the boss. The game does not over-write your save and you can re-load and keep playing as if you never went to the boss. After you fix the pump, and your followers spin the contraption, you'll be alone and the fight is not tough. Don't bother bringing anything. All of your carrying inventory is removed and you are given the Snake Sword. Learn the patterns and you can go not hit. Evade the attacks by constantly moving wary of the rocks, you can trip or get trapped. After three cycles of attacks, move toward the lighted middle. There is a safe spot to stand and you can time it right. Attack the center tendril and a worm creature will appear. Move to the middle quickly as the screen gets obscured from the swirling smoke. One shot the worm and move toward the big guy. Block his breath attack and when his heart glows, aim at it and throw the sword. Don't worry, it will return to your hand. Worms add one each cycle. You can block their attacks but try to kill them quick. Do this three times total and the story is over. Congrats!
Achievements
Most of the achievements you will get from playthrough or are not too difficult to obtain. I will share some that may either be tougher or glitchy.

KEEN-EYED BULLY - Shoot down 5 flying Chickens; I couldn't quite get this one right traveling alone despite my efforts at planning hit boxes. I was for sure killing chickens in the air and they didn't count. I had a Relentless Valravn following me in the Wasteland and got them all in one visit. I guess the Valravn's attack hit correct. Idk. This one was a pain. Good Luck

THE WARRIOR RISES - Complete a Fallen Warrior Quest; Any BANISHER will work and you can have one on you when you talk to the Warrior. Not a huge reward.

KILL IT WITH FIRE! - Destroy 10 Soul Vessels; This should be Destroy 10 Soul-Eaters. Kill them for the achievement. Not destroying, nor planting Soul Vessels you pay coins for do not count.

JOIN THE FIREMAN - Using water, extinguish fire from yourself 3 times; Just dunk yourself in the river and stand in the fire pit under the Moonstone chest. Watch the wet timer carefully.

SHOO! - Disperse 3 Ghouls using the Undertaker; Once a safe area map has five Vivid dead bodies Ghouls will appear after a countdown. You can kill NPCs or your own followers as long as they leave a body behind. Use any Damage or effect potion on followers. Space out the bodies through the area to delay the Undertaker as he buries them pretty quick. Have three shovels in hand at the Undertaker and when the countdown to Ghoul attack is at 80-85 pay the Undertaker and fast travel over to where they are. See the Gameplay section Waiting. He moves slower than you. I did this a the Abandoned House area and he got there in less than ten ticks. The Ghouls will not show up if the Undertaker is in the area at all and trigger the achievement.

THE SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS - Apply the "Stinky" status effect to yourself or an NPC 3 times; Since Garlic for me was so hard to come by, I found an easier method by accident. You can try to kill and resurrect an NPC or follower to get them stinky. Not 100 percent that it will count for the achievement. What does for sure count is turning yourself into a GHOUL three times.

NATURE'S ALLY and A COIN FOR THE FERRYMAN - Bind 10 Creatures from the Mavka, Bind 15 people from the Harbormaster; Simple. Go cheap. Rack em' up. 1 butterfly at Mavka and 1-3 coins at the Harbormaster for skeletons. Some of them might even be carrying good items.

TOOLS OF DEFENSE - Block incoming damage with a Broom 50 times; Don't get confused about the 50 being damage. Get yourself 5 or 6 BROOMS and aggro a chicken in the Wasteland. Keep your block up and exhaust the BROOMS.

AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT - Spend 500 Food to speed up time while sleeping; Do the math. Hunger tops at 25, 25/500. You can have 20 food items that refill 25 or any combo to get the same effect. Get the rest you deserve Warden!

Not sure why there isn't an achievement for completing the story, whateves.
