Project TDP-1L was developed by Whiskey Echo Shipyards under private commission as a streamlined, versatile, well armed exploration vessel. The signature reactor design requires maintenance of a coolant flow pump to prevent meltdowns, but this is somewhat offset with extra power grid management options, and extended backup battery life.

- Power grid management options - the Navigation terminal can toggle the sub into 'low power mode', which shuts off non-essential items such as constructors, dive suit lockers, and O2 refillers. Lights will switch to dim red emergency lighting at low power. The O2 Generator and batteries can also be disconnected from the power grid if required.

Battery lifetime :
* Normal power mode and idling : 8.5~ minutes
* Normal power mode and full speed : 5~ minutes
* Low power mode and idling : 16~ minutes
* Low power mode and full speed : 7~ minutes

- If the condition of the reactor coolant pump drops below 25%, the reactor room will start to flood as the pump malfunctions. If the coolant pump condition drops below 10%, the reactor will begin to overheat and meltdown. A meltdown protection circuit is installed as a safety feature to prevent total catastrophic failure. Make sure the safety circuit is enabled!

- Discharge coils have good range but slow reload time, and cannot fire until the capacitor is ready. An indicator light in the command room will flash when they are ready to fire.

- Terminal console for status reports.

- Junction room contains no air vents to aid in fire suppression - fires will burn all available oxygen then go out, unless a door is opened.

- The "Flak Dispersion System" will fire a spread of 5x flak rounds to the rear of the ship.
The system has a small supercapacitor and charges slowly, while also consuming ammo quickly. Use with discretion.
