Co-Op and Muitiplayer
The way my friends nd I play Unturned together is by using LogMeIn Hamachi. To download Hamachi go to https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx. Click on unmanaged. Now that you have it installed you have to create or join a server. I made one, so let's do that part first.

Click on 'create a new network”. You have to make a name for your network, and if you want one also create a password. Once that is done your friend needs to connect to it by clicking connect, and then typing in the info for your Hamachi Network. Now all you hve to do is run the game. The person hosting it just has to click host, and play. Your friend will type in a set of numbers that will be the host's IP and the port should be 25444. Note: only 5 people total can connect to you at a time.

Now, the multiplayer part is a lot easier to do. Just reeber Ctrl+ V is to paste so you don't have to type everything. To join you must have the game running, and then go to the following link to find a server for Unturned :http://unturned-servers.net/ . From there you can find a server you would like to play on. Once you find a server you want to join you copy paste their IP and port. Make sure that the port numbers are the same, and press connect.
Difference between PVE and PVP
Kicking things off to a good start
Your first objective is to find a town to loot for supplies and weaponry. Search the structures inside the town for anything that can be used as a weapon. A backpack should be your next priority, as the ability to carry more supplies will enable you to survive longer. Until you have a backpack, keep your inventory clear of excess weaponry to allow the gathering of extra supplies. When you have a melee weapon, a power attack deals significantly more damage than a regular attack. Power attacks use up stamina and the damage done by melee weapons may be increased with the warrior skill. You may perform a power attack by right-clicking. Plus if you dont like your spawning location, you can suicide your character until you find a better one.
Thirsty, Hunger, Sickness, and Health
Restaurants and houses with kitchens typically hold food and drinks, so looting these structures is advised. If seeds are found, save them for later if possible so you can grow your own food. You can break down mouldy vegetation that you find by placing it in the crafting menu to create seeds.

Canteens are is the optimal solution for dehydration. You can collect water from the ocean, or the Water Wells at any Farm and drink it without any side effects. If you are unable to find a canteen, obtain 1 can and 1 water bottle in order to craft one. Use Purification Tablets on moldy water bottles to get regular ones.

Pizza restaurants carry a lot of fresh food. Be sure to check one if there is one in the town you are in. Houses with kitchens almost always have food. Be sure to check the fridges.
Only eat moldy food if your hunger is above 85%, as sickness and hunger can build up over time and kill you. It's simply not worth it in the long-run. But it's not a really necessary problem if you have some antibiotics or vitamins, because its easy to beat sickness if you have a good defense.

Pharmacies carry medical supplies, stores carry food and tools, and clothiers and laundromats have clothing which can be broken down into Cloth to make rags, bandages and dressings to heal with. Familiarize yourself with the crafting system, as it will help more than almost anything else early on. If you bring both your hunger and thirst bars down to 0% simultaneously, your health bar will begin to regenerate until either your hunger or thirst bar gains its first percentage point.

Cleaning the town
When you first reach an unexplored town, it's a good idea to clear it of zombies before you loot. The most effective way of doing so is to approach zombies from the outside of town, one by one, and lure them away from the rest while you kill them. Sneaking up on zombies does not work well unless you have invested your experience into the Sneakybeaky skill. In fact, with no points in this skill, sneaking does almost nothing at all. Whatever you do, do not fire non-silent weapons around a town unless you have ample ammo to take out the horde you will attract.
Skills for the skill tree
Your skills determine how much damage you do, how much you take, how quickly you starve, what you can make, and how long you can run and power attack. The survival skill depicts your starvation/dehydration rate, so often and early a point in it is helpful. Beyond that, anything you need at the moment is fair game. With two points in Warrior, most heavy melee weapons will one-shot civilian zombies when hitting them in the head with a power attack. Crafting gives you everything you need to build your houses, the expensive second point grants explosive traps. Energy upgrades reduce the cost of sprinting, jumping, and power attacking. Marksman, when upgraded enough, makes pistols excellent for dealing with up close zombies.
Tools to Survive
There are a few survival tools which are key to constructing a proper base. An axe is used to chop trees to get the materials to build barricades for your base. Use the pickaxe to mine rocks to make a camp-fire. Also, a pocketknife should be kept if found to make wooden spikes for wooden spike traps. If you have a damaged car in use, try to find a Blowtorch, which can be found on SS. Haven and Mechanic. Pickaxes and axes are commonly spawn at the farms. If you have a ride or multiple cars, carry a Blowtorch to repair them.
Crafting Recipes
On the note of crafting, all clothes can be crafted into cloth. Each one gives you different amount of cloth.

"All your base are belong to us"
If they aren't occupied, either of the two farms on PEI are excellent; they both have only a few zombie spawns, can spawn rare bows, each have a Water Well, and one even has a Fuel Tank. They are conveniently located between the two major towns as well, making them absolutely ideal, but incredibly dangerous to hold in multiplayer. Expect to see company, and maybe bring some friends if you plan on fortifying one on a public server.

If you are playing Co-Op way with a couple of friends, select the farm with the fuel tanks. It's large, has fuel tanks and a water well, a farm and a big barn to live in. Barricading farms are easy, just place few fortifications on the windows and make a door.

otherwise, get some barricades to protect your home base, you can easily find them at military locations or industrial locations, put 1 or 2 barricades at the door so zombies will need to take them down to get you, also find or craft some traps, the most common to find and easier to craft are the spike traps, put them in front of the barricades to hurt them while they try to destroy you barricades, get a source of light, you can find work lights in military and factory locations but remember you will need a generator to make them work, place them in and outside of your base, but make sure that they're protected because they can be destroyed by zombies.
Killing for food
it's time to hunt! You can find deer and pigs, which most commonly spawn at the woods and mountains or rarely near towns and bases, so get yourself a weapon and go hunting to the woods. Go crouching and prone when closer, animals are sensitive to players. If you get too close it will run away, so having a long range weapon will make them much easier to kill off. remember to cook the raw meat you get in a camp-fire so you won't get even more sickness. You can craft and open the crafting menu, select the fire icon and the low left corner of the crafting menu next to the icon of a hammer and a pickaxe and put your raw meat in the ingredient slot and you are done.

Get yourself a longbow or craft it and get some arrows too, as the bow is more silent than guns and does more damage than most anyway. The best bows spawn far more regularly on farms, so checking them for a compound bow or a crossbow can be worthwhile. If you have the time, try aiming for a head shot. This will increase the chances it will down in one shot, and so the animal will be less likely to run away.
Vehicles In General.
  • "Car"
The first Vehicle in Unturned is the "Car". It is a four person car. The "Car" can go around 40 to 45km/h. "Car" is an very common civilian vehicle and you can shoot out of the car, but the driver can't for good reason. The "Car" has an slower then any other car in the game, due how common the "Car". Not only the "Car" is slower, gas for the "Car" is inefficient if you want to travel to alot of places.
  • "Van"
The Second vehicle is called the "Van". It is also an common vehicle, but the "Van" is better then the "Car". "Van" can hold up to four people and go up to 46km/h. Just like the "Car", the "Van" also an civillian Vehicle. "Van" has an bigger fuel efficient, so pack your bags. The "van" can travel to place to place, and not worry about refilling.
  • "LCV"
The next vehicle is the "LCV". The "LCV" is an pick-up truck, on that note. It is good on running a few zombies over. The truck has the same fuel efficient as the Car, so you may need to pack an gas can. LCV is an common vehicle, just like the Van and the Car. Truck has four seat for players to sit, two in the truck and two in the bed of the truck. people in the truck bed can easy shoot, but they are vulnerable to gunfire. The truck may go up 46km/h, same as the Van.
  • Roadster
The Roadster is the sports car in this game. Roadster can be clocked up to 72km/h, which is the fastest car in the game. The good part about this vehicle that is an common civillian vehicle. The bad thing about this vehicle, that only two people can be in Roadster at once. Due to the speed of the vehicle, it is hard to avoid obstacles, and has a small back window. Roadster has wrost fuel efficient the Car.
  • Police Car
The Police Car is an uncommon vehicle. Police Car can be found near the police station at Charlottetown, next to the police station in Burywood, and on the dock of Alberton. Siren on top can be activated by pressing the control (Ctrl) button. The Police Car is an four person vehicle, and goes up to 54km/h. Saddly, the Police Car has fuel efficient of the Car.
  • Fire Truck
The Fire Truck is a rare vehicle found at the Charlottetown and Burywood fire stations. The vehicle has sirens which can be activated with the Ctrl key. Its width makes ramming other vehicles easier, Despite its large size, the Fire truck is a very ineffective group transport, as it has only TWO seats, Driver and Passenger. The Fire truck can only go 39km/h but has a good fuel efficient.
  • Ambulance
The Ambulance is an uncommon vehicle found next to the pharmacy of Charlottetown, next to the banana sign in Alberton and at the car accident near the golf course. It looks like an ordinary van, but it is in red with a white cross on the side and emergency lights on top. Backseat passengers have more protection against gun fire than in the regular van. It has a maximum speed of 54km/h, It has 3 passenger seats, making the total seats 4.
  • Humvee
The Humvee is an uncommon vehicle found at the hangar of O'Leary Military Base, next to the tents at Confederation Bridge, next to the tents at montague, next to the gate in Burywood , and at the roadblock near the docks in Alberton; the first four of which are military locations, while the fifth is a police location. Rarely, it can also be found near the Lighthouse at Summerside Peninsula They appear in two different colors; forest and desert camo. The Humvee has a lot of health, meaning that it could withstand a lot of zombie hits before beginning to smoke. It has a large fuel capacity. Due to its maximum speed and the fuel capacity, the Humvee is able to travel a long distance. Also the Humvee can carry up to four players.
  • APC
The APC is an extremely rare vehicle found next to the tents of the Confederation Bridge, in the hangar of O'Leary Military Base, near the military tent in Montague, and at the entrance of Burywood, which are all Military Locations. It typically spawns with forest camo, but can also spawn with desert camo. Unique qualities of the APC are its ability to contain and protect 5 players, and its very high health. It is common for an APC to simply not spawn on a map during world generation due to its rarity, resulting in most players never being able to acquire one.

If you want an APC to spawn, you must make space for it in the vehicle pool. There is a limit for vehicles in PEI, and by destroying unwanted vehicles, other vehicles take their place after reconnection; one of these has a chance of being an APC. So the method is to simply destroy unwanted vehicles, disconnect and reconnect until an APC spawns. However due to the low spawn chance you may spend a lot of time destroying vehicles.
Ranged Weapons Part 1

  • The Timber wolf Sniper is an extremely rare bolt-action sniper rifle found at military locations. It uses Lapua magazines, which hold 8 military rounds per magazine. It spawns with a 20x Zoom Scope by default.

  • Advantages

  • Only 1 box of military bullets is required to fill its Lapua magazine to 8 rounds.

  • It has an effective range of 400m, far and away the longest in the game.

  • Its magazine can hold 8 rounds, 3 higher than using a regular Mosen for sniping.

  • It spawns with a unique 20x scope that cannot be found anywhere else.

  • Disadvantages

  • The Timberwolf has a low rate of fire due to its bolt-action mechanism, and is unsuited for close combat.

  • It has high recoil.

  • It is very loud, and does not support barrel attachments.

  • It is extraordinarily rare, and both it and its magazine can only be found in military locations

  • It is the heaviest gun in the game (4kg/8.8lbs), second being the Maplestrike, making it inefficient for raids.

    • Weight: 4kg/8.8lbs
    • Range: 400.1 m
    • Damage: 115%

    • The Matamorez is a very rare automatic sniper rifle found only in militia locations. It uses Xtrim mags as ammunition that holds up to 10 rounds.

    • Advantages

    • Its damage-per-shot is very high, on par with that of the Crossbow, and it is capable of killing a military zombie with a headshot.

    • It spawns with a rare 7x scope attached by default.

    • It has a high-quality, built-in suppressor/flash hider that is is quieter than a Muffler and the standard Suppressor, making it a weapon of choice for stealthy operations.

    • It has a very long effective range, topped only by the Timberwolf.

    • Only one box of civilian bullets is required to refill its magazine.

    • It has the highest rate of fire among all non-assault rifles.

    • The Matamorez is the only automatic sniper rifle in the game, making it effective at picking off large groups of enemies at long range.

    • Disadvantages

    • The Matamorez and its magazines are very rare, only spawning in militia locations.

    • Like the Zubeknakov, its coloration makes it very easy to spot.

    • It is very heavy, being the third-heaviest firearm in the game, though it is still lighter than its counterpart, the Timberwolf.

    • Weight:3 kg/6.6 lbs
    • Range: 350 m
    • Damage: 99%

    • The Mosen is a rare bolt-action rifle found at militia locations . It uses Bonjour Clips as ammunition, which holds 5 rounds.

    • Advantages

    • The Mosen inflicts high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing military zombies with one headshot.

    • It uses fairly common Bonjour clips as ammunition, that can be refilled with 1 box of civilian bullets.

    • It is a very lightweight weapon, and is the third-lightest firearm in the game, next to the Magnum and Double Barrel.

    • Can accept any attachments.

    • Disadvantages

    • The Mosen has a slow rate of fire due to its bolt action mechanism.

    • Its effective range is the shortest of any rifle.

    • It is rarer than its cousin rifle; the Outfield.

    • Its magazines only hold 5 bullets, hindering it greatly at close range.

    • Because of its low capacity, refilling its magazines is a very inefficient use of civilian bullets. This also makes it inefficient to carry on raids, requiring several Bonjour clips and/or boxes of civilian bullets for longer trips.

  • Weight: 0.9kg/1.98 lbs
  • Range: 300 m
  • Damage: 90%
      • The Maplestrike is an uncommon assault rifle found at military locations. It uses NATO magazines, NATO drums, and NATO tracer magazines as ammunition, which holds 30, 100, and 20 rounds respectively.
      • Advantages

      • The Maplestrike has very high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing a civilian zombie with a headshot.

      • It is more common than other assault rifles.

      • It can use a variety of magazines

      • It can use any kind of attachment

      • Alongside the Proninety, it is the only weapon in the game that possesses every firing mode.

      • Because of its dark color, it is well-suited to nighttime stealth, and compliments dark clothing (such as the Ninja Suit) nicely.

      • It has a long effective range

      • Disadvantages

      • The Maplestrike is the second-heaviest weapon in the game, outweighed only by the Timberwolf.

      • It is found in military locations, where dangerous military zombies are

      • Requires 2 military bullets to refill NATO magazines, 2 rare tracer bullets to refill NATO tracers and 4 military bullets to refill NATO drums.
      • weight: 3.5kg/7.7lbs
      • Range: 400 m
      • damage: 81%
      • The Swissgewehr is a rare marksman rifle found at police locations. It utilizes NATO magazines, NATO Tracer and NATO drum which hold 30, 20, and 100 bullets respectively.
      • Advantages

      • The Swissgewehr deals high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing a civilian zombie in one headshot.

      • It can use a variety of magazines

      • It can use any kind of attachment.

      • Its coloration provides better camouflage than the Maplestrike or Zubeknakov.

      • Like all assault rifles, it has a long effective range.

      • Disadvantages

      • It is very rare, and is found only in police locations.

      • Unlike other assault rifles, it only has a safety and semi firing mode, making it an inferior as a crowd control weapon and giving it a severe disadvantage against other assault rifle-wielding players.

      • Its ammunition is not found in police locations, requiring you to visit dangerous military locations to find magazines or military bullets.

      • Requires 2 military bullets to refill NATO magazines, 2 rare tracer bullets to refill NATO tracers and 4 military bullets to refill NATO drums.

      • Though it weighs less than the Maplestrike, it is still a very heavy weapon.
      • weight: 3kg/6.6lbs
      • Range: 400m
      • Damage: 81%
      • The Outfield is an uncommon bolt-action rifle found at civilian locations. It uses Bonjour clips as ammunition, which hold 5 rounds. It also spawns with a dual point rail sight attached.
      • Advantages

      • The Outfield inflicts high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing military zombies with one headshot.

      • The Outfield inflicts high damage-per-shot, and is capable of killing military zombies with one headshot.

      • Useful as a custom sniper rifle for those who haven't obtained the rare Timberwolf or Matamorez.

      • It can be found in civilian locations.

      • It is more common than the Mosen.

      • It is a lightweight weapon, much lighter than sniper rifles.

      • Disadvantages

      • The Outfield has a slow rate of fire due to its bolt action mechanism.

      • Its effective range is shorter than that of an assault rifle.

      • Because of its low capacity, refilling its magazines is a very inefficient use of civilian bullets.

      • Stat-wise, it is almost entirely outclassed by the similar Mosen.

      • Its magazines only hold 5 bullets, hindering it greatly at close range.
      • weight: 1kg/2.2lbs
      • Range: 325 m
      • Damage: 85%
Ranged Weapons Part 2

  • The Novuh is a rare shotgun found at police locations, the crash site near the golf course and by the S.S Haven. It uses Buckshot and/or Slugs as ammunition, and can hold 5 shells.

  • Advantages

  • The Novuh can use two common types of ammunition (Buckshot and Slugs) for different purposes.

  • It can deal a massive amount of damage at close range (206% total), only being beaten by the Double Barrel (20% per pellet, equaling 240% total).

  • It takes less than one second to reload one shell.

  • It has a light weight.

  • At a capacity of 5, it can hold more shells than any other shotgun.

  • Unlike other shotguns, it allows barrel attachments. As such, it is the only shotgun that can be silenced.

  • Disadvantages

  • The Novuh has a sluggish rate of fire.

  • It is rare, and found only in police locations, by the S.S Haven, and at the crash site near the golf course.

  • The damage it deals is dependent on the number of pellets that hit the target, meaning that while it has the potential to deal a massive amount of damage, it also has the potential to deal next to none.

  • Like all shotguns, it has a very short effective range.

  • 1 shell is loaded at a time, meaning that it takes a while to fully load the gun.

  • It does not allow tactical attachments.

  • weight: 1.2kg/2.6lbs
  • Range: 20 m
  • Damge: 18% (per pellet)

  • The Crossbow is a rare weapon found only in farms, other agricultural areas and occasionally the S.S Haven cargo ship in Alberton. It uses arrows as ammunition and spawns with a 6x Zoom Scope attached by default.

  • Advantages

  • Very high damage-per-shot, and it is capable of killing even military zombies with headshots.

  • It uses a very common type of ammunition that can be crafted using similarly common materials.

  • It is relatively lightweight, as is its ammunition, making it much more inventory-efficient than the Matamorez or Timberwolf.

  • Like all bows, its projectiles are Hitscan, meaning they will hit their targets instantly.

  • Also like all bows, its arrows can be retrieved if they hit inanimate objects

  • Its a silent wepon

  • The Crossbow has no recoil

  • It allows tactical and sight attachments, greatly increasing its effective range.

  • It is much easier to use than other bows, and requires little practice to be used effectively.

  • It spawns with a detachable 6x scope, reducing the need to hunt for attachments.

  • Disadvantages

  • It can only hold a single arrow at a time, making it ineffective against groups and at shorter ranges

  • It has an even slower rate of fire than the Compound Bow or Longbow, further limiting its effectiveness in close-quarters, and making it a very risky weapon to use against other players.

  • It is the rarest type of bow.

  • Though it is still much lighter than assault or sniper rifles, it is heavier than the comparable Compound Bow and is thus inferior in terms of weight efficiency.

  • Though it is still much lighter than assault or sniper rifles, it is heavier than the comparable Compound Bow and is thus inferior in terms of weight efficiency.0

  • It has the shortest effective range of any bow.

  • It does not allow tactical attachments.

  • Weight:1kg/2.2lbs
  • Range: 100m
  • Damage:35%

  • It has a light weight.

  • Its effective range is tied with the Berette for the longest of any pistol.

  • Disadvantages

  • As with all pistols, the Colt has a sluggish fire rate.

  • It deals very low damage-per-shot.

  • Its magazine only holds 7 bullets, making it a very inefficient use of civilian bullets.

  • Like all pistols, it does not allow tactical attachments.

  • Weight: 1kg/2.2lbs
  • Range: 100m
  • Damage: 34%

  • The Magnum is an uncommon revolver found in civilian locations. It uses Winchester clips as ammunition, which hold 6 rounds.

  • Advantages

  • The Magnum inflicts high damage-per-shot for a pistol, and is capable of killing civilian zombies with one headshot.

  • It uses relatively common Winchester clips as ammunition, which require only one box of civilian bullets to refill.

  • It is very lightweight, and is the lightest firearm in the game.

  • Disadvantages

  • Like all pistols, it has a sluggish rate of fire.

  • Also like all pistols, it does not accept tactical attachments.

  • Its clips only hold 6 bullets, making refilling them an inefficient use of civilian bullets.
